Standing alongside law enforcement officers from across Ohio today was a solemn reminder that behind every badge is a family, a community, and a servant willing to put others before themselves. We should never forget that the men and women who risk their lives to protect our families are parents, sons and daughters, husbands and wives. Today, we remember Sgt. Scott Ries, pray for his loved ones, and recommit ourselves to supporting those who protect our communities every day.
