Forest fans in the first minute of the game today #nffc

A quick word on Forest. They’ll finish above us and nowhere near the drop, at least 8 worse teams than them in this division. They’re decent. Should have been 3 up before we scored
Worst referee performance I’ve ever seen in my entire life since palace #nffc
En route to Ipswich now. Throwback to last March when Elanga scored twice in 4 minutes⚡️🌳 #nffc

Another game where #nffc are left ruing missed chances. Whether it’s Wood, Delap, Murillo..
But I haven’t come away from that feeling pessimistic about the future. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
We were organised, cohesive, created enough chances to get something from the game.. and limited the champions to just one shot on target.
I thought Delap was fantastic, bar a goal. A constant nuisance and a real force going forward for us, winning aerial duels and beating defenders.
Macatee continues to shine. Diomande looks fitter. Hudson-Odoi a threat off the bench.
Yes, psychologically it’s never nice being in the bottom 3, but the players are to blame for not being clinical enough.
Despite that, I still see the ingredients of what can become a real strong side.
Got 2 spares for the @Forza_Garibaldi boat trip tomorrow if anyone’s keen #nffc
Sitting with a pint in St Pancras contemplating how we weren’t 3 or 4 goals up at half time… #nffc weird game.

Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White is the leading scorer in the Premier League in 2026 with 13 goals.
Only Bruno Fernandes has been involved in more goals (22) in the league this calendar year than Gibbs-White (21).

I can see a ball near the arm, I can also see studs in the skull. If it isn't a goal.. it's a pen and a straight red card.

Forest have every right to be frustrated at VAR Peter Bankes’ intervention and the review of Neco Williams’ goal-line effort against Spurs. It wasn’t a clear and obvious mistake by ref Craig Pawson. PL match centre declared that “VAR checked the referee's call of goal to Nottingham Forest and determined that Williams handled the ball immediately before scoring and recommended that the goal was disallowed”. Yet even after repeated viewings it’s hard to tell whether it was handball or not. So not a clear and obvious error. Goal should have stood.
ProRef, the artists formally known as PGMOL, promised at the start of the season that VAR would be more light touch, more in keeping with the original intention of intervening only when a clear and obvious error. Largely, so far this season, officials have kept to that “minimal interference, maximum benefit” mantra. Consistency of application was always the concern - as highlighted at the City Ground. #NFOTOT

Good lord, what a horrendous overpay, Enzo Fernandez for £105.7m was already one of the worst value big money signings in Premier League history.
£855.4m (€998.3m) & counting for City since January 2025, Iliman Ndiaye would take that beyond £900m & €1 billion. 115 charges pending & three players signed for £100m+ in one summer.
What a complete joke this is allowed to carry on.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City reach agreement with Chelsea to sign Enzo Fernandez. Package for 25yo midfielder work £125m so matches British transfer record. Argentina int’l granted permission by #CFC to undergo medical & complete #MCFC move @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7514317…

With reports today that Iliman Ndiaye and Enzo Fernandez are expected to sign for Man City over the next 24 hours, their summer spend will surpass £400 million.
Good to see that those 115 alleged charges for breaking Financial Fair Play rules have really served as a deterrent.
With Abbott, Bindon, Morato all going out on loan, surely we need a cb in?! Only 4 cbs (+ Yates) for 3 positions #nffc
