ALT Young people are waiting over a year for treatment. NHS data shows 78,577 young people referred to CAMHS waited over a year for treatment in 2023/24. That's an increase of 52% on the previous year. Out of these, 34,191 waited for two years. The average wait for support is 392 days. No one should have to wait this long for support. This needs to be a wake up call for our Government. It's time to give services the investment they desperately need - and fulfil their promise of providing an Early Support an early support hub in every local area.
