Please join our prayers with those of Pope Leo XIV, especially for an end to all terrorism and religious persecution. Let us pray for those who are persecuted for their faith like the Christians in Nigeria, Syria, North Korea, and Yemen. @usccbfreedom @FWdiocese @NTCatholic
Let us continue to pray together for peace. The day after tomorrow, on 27 October, let us join in spirit with the heads of churches and religious leaders who will gather in Assisi to mark the 40th anniversary of the meeting convened by Saint John Paul II. Never before has it been so clear that wars, as well as sowing death and destruction, impoverish and harm the world. May the Lord inspire choices of dialogue and peace! #PrayTogether

Having consecrated the @FWdiocese to the #SacredHeart of Jesus, let us ask Saint Margaret Mary to intercede for us.
Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, a nun of the Order of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary: she ran along the way of perfection in an extraordinary manner and, endowed with mystical gifts, she was particularly zealous in her devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, accomplishing much to promote that cult throughout the Church. She fell asleep in the Lord at Paray-le-Monial in the territory of Autun in France, on the seventeenth of October.
Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, pray for us!

Have you ever wondered why the guest was thrown out of the wedding feast for not wearing a wedding garment?

Happy Deacon Sunday!
We thank all deacons serving in the Diocese of Fort Worth for answering God's call to the permanent diaconate!! Many deacons work full-time while fulfilling their vocation as "servants of the servants".
May many more men from our Diocese answer the call.
