Rural PA stopped hoping for help from Harrisburg long ago. That needs to change. We need votes on bipartisan solutions. Learn more at https://teapaw.org/t.co/ck55P7lYKG.

Most of the 2026 gerrymanders turned out to be dummymanders. ALL of them stole representation & ruined accountable government. Isn't it time to end gerrymandering for good? We're done with politicians choosing their voters. Fight fair or go home. @FairDistrictsPA
Millions of dollars were spent on efforts to control the outcome of Nov 3 election. Apparently most of those efforts were dummymanders: gerrymandering efforts intended to favor a political party, but which backfire by benefiting another party instead. cbsnews.com/news/dummymander…

PA was the forerunner in representation-with the 1st state constitution promising "the people" the right to alter & reform our government. It's time to reclaim that right. Come learn more at our statewide conference on December 5 in Harrisburg. actionnetwork.org/ticketed_e…

Imagine how much more we could invest in public services, healthcare, education, and infrastructure if the wealthiest people contributed taxes at the same effective rates as ordinary working people. The problem isn’t that society lacks resources. It’s that the tax burden is often distributed in ways that favour those who can afford it least.

Kansas voter here. Actually right in the center, so deep cow country. We are tired. We are broke. We are seeing our friends and neighbors terrorized. What the hell would we want more of the same for? Hope this helps.
Can anyone please explain how every county in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Texas went blue? Really? I don't believe it. There's no freaking way that Farmers and Ranchers voted blue. No chance.

We just saw the most expensive election cycle in the history of our country (again). The AI and crypto industries spent millions trying to shape the outcome of our democracy. We must confront the influence of billionaires and special interests in our elections. It's time to abolish Super PACs and overturn Citizens United. theintercept.com/2026/11/04/…

I hate to break it to this guy, since this is his pet issue, but not only is so-called "school choice" wildly unpopular in Texas, it's literally a big part of why Gina Hinojosa won in the first place. Rural Republicans flipped or stayed home in part because they never wanted the school voucher system to begin with and feared it would defund their small-town schools. Voters, particularly rural Republicans who voted Democratic for the first time in their lives, gave Hinojosa and the legislature a mandate to dismantle it.
BREAKING: Gina Hinojosa already wants to get rid of school choice for over 100,000 kids in Texas.

James Talarico separates legal tax loopholes from outright cheating, and argues that collecting taxes already owed should come before adding new ones “You know, there's, there's crazy stuff in our tax code that says you can write off your private jet, your mega yacht as business expenses, right?” “I mean, this whole tax system that we have now really allows the people at the very top to accumulate and amass more wealth without any taxation.” “I mean, we, I was reading that if we just collected the taxes that the top 1% owes, no new taxes, just collecting what's already owed, it would raise something like $172 billion every year.” “It's both, it's both the legalized loopholes that you can get away with, but it's also people who just know they're not going to get, but no one's going to crack down on them.” w/ @jamestalarico

Dark money groups poured $1.4 billion in our elections this cycle—which is six times more than the $229 million spent in 2018. The dark money that Citizens United unleashed on our elections is a scourge on our democracy. The time for robust campaign finance reform is now.

Trying to understand around why school vouchers helped propel the blue wave in states like TX, IA and AZ? I'm here to help. GOP's insistence on enacting unpopular programs over voter objections angered a lot of people, like this Dem who just ousted Utah's senate majority leader

If the goal is to alienate voters the same way @PAGOP did, go for it. A huge % of voters hate gerrymandering, dislike cheaters & want accountable, responsive government. Anyone who approves a map like this or stands in the way of redistricting reform missed the Nov 3 memo.
The first thing Josh Shapiro and the PA Dems need to do is pass this map

While pundits do the same-old tired debate of whether Tuesday’s election results mean Democrats should be more progressive or more moderate, they’re missing the whole damn point. I just won my swing district by 26 points. This was an election about POWER. Let me explain. 🧵:

That’s exactly what we’ve done in my district. When ICE tried to build a mass detention center in Chester, our community rallied, gathered 30,000 signatures and stopped it.

Among Pennsylvania’s dedicated poll workers are high school and college students, some not yet old enough to vote, helping model civic engagement for the next generation. In Lebanon County, student poll workers served in more than half of the county’s precincts during Tuesday’s election. Read more: lebtown.com/2026/11/04/leban…

Now that these rigged maps have spectacularly backfired, can we all get on board with banning partisan gerrymandering now?

The American people want real representation and real solutions from the people we elect. It's time for redistricting reform & voting maps drawn to represent we the people, not the dreams of political leaders. yougov.com/en-us/articles/54…

Excellent! Sen. Jon Ossoff is calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. It should never be allowed for billionaires/oligarchs like Musk, who pumped almost half a billion dollars into the midterm election, to buy our politicians and government.

“We have lost over half of all cattle producers just in… a generation.” “We’ve lost over 100,000 just since 2017 through 2022.” “We’ve lost millions of cows from our cow herd.” “We’ve lost tens of thousands of feed lots.” “The industry is in a crisis.” R-CALF USA CEO Bill Bullard is sounding the alarm. “Beef prices were rising even while cattle prices were falling throughout the period from 2017 to 2021.” “Then the President decides to increase the importation of beef to the tune of 300,000 metric tons.” “The beef that we are going to import is going to compete directly with the cows that cattle producers are selling now.” “These producers are going to be challenged in order to meet their production costs and their economic costs.” “Even while we have these record-high cattle prices, producers are just now beginning to recover some of the losses on the operating side.” “They have still not received the full economic costs of maintaining a ranching operation.” “That’s why we’ve lost so many hundreds of thousands.” “This is a very serious situation for cattle producers.” “Even with these higher prices, we’re continuing to see an exodus of U.S. ranchers from our domestic food industry.” “That is a threat to national security.” This situation cannot meaningfully improve until Washington tackles two massive issues: Corporate consolidation and the collapse of the domestic cattle herd. And these problems fuel one another. Increased consolidation squeezes independent ranchers out of business, decreasing the cattle herd even further. And every decrease in the cattle herd hands multinational corporate producers even greater market power. @RCALFUSA @RMConservative

A note to Democrats, based on mistakes we’ve seen here in the U.K.: assume these votes have been lent to you, not given. Now govern in such a way that you earn them. Then, perhaps, they will stay with you. Whether this is a temporary wave or a permanent change? On you.
