If this holds up, this game is up there with 2008 Toledo, 2007 App State and 2020 MSU.

There literally has to be a way to fire someone in case of emergency.

Hand up. This is my fault for saying "just give me a National Championship and I won't complain for at least five years."

Jack Campbell continues to rest and recover at a local hospital. Preliminary indications are positive and out of respect for Jack and his family we will not share further information at this time.

Anthony Di Marco - Larkin- #mnwild | Checking in with an Eastern Conference executive to get a feel for a league feel on the matter, DFO was told that the Wild “have to win now” and that they will have to lose a deal to acquire Larkin. In a win-now window, the executive went on the say that the Wild are “out of options” and that any team trading with them should “win the deal by a mile.” #LGRW #NHL
And people said Larkin played hard if this is playing hard I have ocean front land in Iowa to sell you
Dear former Captain Dylan Larkin,
We could tell you’ve had enough, we’ve watched you play. You have now publicly quit on your hometown NHL team twice in a span of a few months.
Hope you enjoy rotting on the couch at your parents’ place while suspended without pay because we all already know that you put your own home up for sale months ago.
It’s a shame that it has come to this,
Good Riddance

On what planet is it professional to to quit on your teammates because the trade you demanded isn't happening fast enough, while your destinations list is pretty much exclusively teams without the means or desire to trade for you?

If I didn't want to wait to leave for a new team, I simply would have not signed an 8-year contract and then demanded a trade at the start of Year 4.
Or I'd waive my NTC outright instead of slow-trickling a list of contenders who all can't afford to add me without complications.
There were talks in the the last 24 hours between Larkin's camp and the Red Wings, both last night and again this morning, and what was communicated from the agents to Detroit was that Larkin feels he's given the team ample time since his trade request in May to get a deal done. Larkin has had enough, so decision was made he won't play tonight nor for foreseable future hoping a trade materializes. Fluid situation still. Red Wings circling back to teams with interest, etc., as talks escalate.
