Nearly 9 years after the Roadster was first unveiled, the vision is finally coming together.
Back in 2018, Elon said the car would have a “SpaceX package” with “~10 small rocket thrusters.”
By 2024, he was calling it a “Tesla/SpaceX collab.”
And now, in 2026, he says it could be the “greatest product demo of all time.”
Tesla performance.
SpaceX engineering.

Elon Musk confirmed Tesla and SpaceX are working together on it.
The new Roadster will do zero to 60 in under one second, faster than any sports car on the planet.
But Elon says that's not even the most exciting part.
When asked about a flying car he replied maybe it's not out of the question.
The only way to top the Cybertruck is to make something that's not even really a car.
Tesla and SpaceX technology combined in one vehicle.
