Even with me pushing for the old Studley community centre to remain as a community asset and be used by local youth groups as a community centre, from the moment I became a county councillor the Reform led county council have decided to just auction it off.
I am apoplectic.
Renting it to local community groups would have kept income over many years but instead they want a one off payment for some reason.
Removing community assets while making short term financial decisions. . . I'm glad I left @reformparty_uk more and more, Because this is shameful.

Iโve just chased and apprehended a shoplifter out of BP Shenfield and retrieved the steaks heโd stolen. Iโve returned the swag to the manager.
Shoplifting is an epidemic and the authorities donโt seem to care. Britain is going to the dogs.
Some of us wonโt let that happen.
I would like to know how big institutions like insurance companies and others are able to gain your new debit card numbers for their auto renewal systems? I would really like to choose who has my personal information with GDPR in mind too! @LloydsBank @MartinSLewis

Rishi Sunak's car crash interview with @1Judilove
Judi Love, "People live in homes with damp.. NHS workers right now are queuing to go to food banks.. When are you going to do something to make a change, people are suffering"
Rishi Sunak starts talking about the online safety bill
Judi Love, "It's important for you to get into the juice of it, we've heard so many things.. What is happening now with regards to poverty in the UK"
Rishi Sunak again talks about the online safety bill
Judi Love, "What about the children who do not have the means of gas and electric in their homes, what are we doing to help those parents that are suffering.. We've got people going to work who are not eating because we are in a state of poverty.. What is going to happen, now"
Rishi Sunak, "Financial security is people's most acute concern.. We've been through a tough time: pandemic, war in Ukraine, energy bills.. We've provided support to people"
Judi Love, "Universal Credit?"
Rishi Sunak, "You saw me in the pandemic with furlough" - ignored over 3 million #ExcludedUK
Kay Adams, "You've got 4 million children living in poverty Prime Minister"
Rishi Sunak ignores her, "We've made sure our welfare system is working, benefits are being uprated, a big tax cut for those who are in work who will get more money in their bank account"
Judi Love, "How do you connect to these people? A lot of people are concerned that you cannot emotionally connect, because you haven't and dont live the life that they live. How do you connect with people when they are worried about knife crime, worried to sleep at home because of damp, when they're worried to take a day off sick because they dont want to miss that pay check. They need you to protect them as prime minister"
Rishi Sunak, "I point you to what happened in the pandemic.. All the things you just said were true then.. I knew the right thing was to step in and support people through it.. That's what I did.. I'd ask people to judge me by my actions.. That's what I've done that's who I am as a person.. That's how I was raised"
Judi Love, "How were you raised?"
Rishi Sunak, "I was, I was..."

Whether it's the lies of Brexit driven by Boris Johnson, or relaxing Treasury rules and approving ยฃ billions during covid, most of which we now know to be fraud, approved by then Chancellor Rishi Sunak. Our economy is being trashed with Brexit red tape, our country is being robbed by now PM's bad decision making, and we are being sold a NI tax cut as a good thing, when our services like schools and the NHS are both literally crumbling.
The Conservative party of 14 years keep saying they have a plan, yet every one of their plans have made things worse for our country. And their constant voting to repeatedly dump raw sewage in our rivers and seas, what a disgrace.
Our political landscape is in desperate need of decent people speaking out. A few celebs have had the courage to do so, and no doubt CV's book tour will be a wonderful and welcoming night out. Do check it out ๐
