Jason Bateman reveals the secret to having a long lasting marriage
"I married a friend, as opposed to a girlfriend. That was a big one for me because... the girlfriends that you had before this current marriage you're in didn't last. You break up with girlfriends. I found that I didn't break up with friends."
"What was keeping me with my friends? What was that dynamic? What did I like about them, what did they like about me, who was I when I was with them?"
"Find someone you're sêxually attracted to that's also a friend."
"Amanda I knew was that for many years before she agreed to go out with me, and really before I deserved to go out with her. I was still working out a bunch of other crap, and she sensed that."
Steven breaks down the key things he learned from his mentor when he first started trading.
Steven: "I had a mentor. He's like some dude who lives in Utah, he fishes, he's not like the classic he had a Lambo and I saw his video. I stumbled upon perps trading, It wasn't as popular back then, and he really taught me just like key fundamental and technical analysis."
Jason: "Talk to me about the key things he taught you. What did you learn?"
Steven: "Risk is in my opinion the most important thing, especially in leverage trading."
"You see people go up on crazy runs because the market just is in aggressive trends, and then they end up losing it all due to one liquidation event or one flush. And I think risk management is very important"
"And then obviously the setup.... it actually matters about the asset you're trading now. Like for example, you used to be able to just long any altcoin and they would all go up the same. But we're seeing basically change in the altcoin market where a lot of different alts will go up and then a lot of different alts will go down, so you need to also select the right ones pretty much"
Jason: "How do you make that determination?"
Steven: "It's a lot of research. X is really good for this actually... following a lot of the top traders and seeing what they're talking about"
"And then you can also just see it in the chart, like what is showing strength and what is showing weakness"
Steven reveals his strategy for achieving outsized returns from the crypto market
"Building a higher time frame spot portfolio is always going to outperform perps, especially at somebody as young as me."
"Bucketing your capital is really important. I have intraday meme coin and leverage trades in one portfolio, swing trades in the next, and high time frame spot plays that I don't touch."
"The goal should always be to deploy capital into the higher time frame buckets from your lower time frames."
"My lower time frame trades are my fomo account. That’s where I generate money and rotate it into spot plays"
"Some spot plays I took was on an altcoin called $CHIP, $Pump Fun, Hyperliquid.... Those are sort of the meat of my portfolio in actively managing my swing trades, and then my higher time frame bags are just things like Solana, Bitcoin, and Zcash"
Steve explains how memecoins act as leveraged exposure to crypto upside especially when you're sidelined on altcoins
"I think of meme coins as leveraged exposure to crypto upside, assuming you know how to correctly trade them"
"You don't have to own spot crypto or have a lot of money in the market to capture upside on crypto"
"If I have the ability to trade meme coins and the market is going up, the meme coin market is probably going to be in a good spot for me to make money"
"If Bitcoin is up 20 to 30% on the month, it's guaranteed in the meme coin market"
"It helps me not FOMO into higher time frame spot trades and leverage trades... I just understand that the meme coin market is there"
"I was pretty sidelined on altcoins, but the meme coin market was absolutely very good... I was able to take advantage of that and not FOMO into Zcash at the top"
Steven says understanding technical analysis is the best thing you can do for yourself as a trader.
Steven: "I had a mentor who taught me technical analysis; not anything fundamental with crypto, just about setups and proper risk management"
"I was doing that on a MEXC account risking $1 because I didn't have a lot of money, but it was a really good foundation"
"One of the best things you can do in crypto is understand technical analysis"
Jason: "Where does technical analysis start actually working?"
Steven: "The only way to trade memecoins with technical analysis is if they're listed on exchanges with market makers; things like $WIF and $DOGE work"
"All the lower caps onchain are mostly narrative-driven... Something can happen in an hour that completely destroys the chart, which technical analysis has zero effect on".
Steven reveals how he got into crypto at the early age of 13.
"I started trading five or six years ago. I was 13 years old, super young, in the 2021 cycle"
"The main thing that got me into trading was an NFT called MechaVerse"
"I got whitelisted, got two of them, and was super stoked. I was like, 'Holy shit, I just made a bunch of money, this is absolutely crazy'"
"Of course I didn't sell it. I roundtripped everything and I cried for days"
"I was up 60 to 100 grand at peak. I could've sold them for 20 or 30 ETH"
"That was probably the worst event that ever happened to me. I thought everything was over"
"I quit crypto for a little bit, went into sneaker reselling for three years until I was 16, and then got back into crypto seriously"
Steven reveals how staying persistent and always having liquidity helped him recover his portfolio from a massive loss.
Jason: "What does it take for it to just click?"
Steven: "Persistence. Just not giving up"
"You want to always be able to take opportunity in the crypto market, and the main thing that enables you to do that is having capital"
"Having liquidity ready to go to deploy into anything at any given time, and not being fully allocated or basically having no money"
"Opportunities present themselves in the most random times, and you need to be able to capitalize off that"
"My fomo portfolio, I put in 250 grand, and I went all the way down to 30K. I was down 250K"
"But I was like Ineed to change things. The market conditions suddenly get better right at my bottom, and I make 500K in a couple of weeks"
Steven reveals it took three brutal years of losing money before he finally cracked the market and became profitable.
"Most people just want quick money. I make quick money every single day in the memecoin market, but people don't see that it's going to take a lot longer than you think"
"I started trading at 13, but I didn't really make money until I was 16"
"Three years, but not serious money... a couple thousand dollars, then I would lose it all"
"It's very difficult, but once it clicks in trading, you'll see that it just goes up"

Steven reveals the ultimate edge young onchain traders have over Wall Street quants
"One of the main things is just belief. You talk to a lot of successful people who run traditional finance funds, and they bash on crypto"
"The newer generation will have a better view and more belief in the crypto market, which will allow them to propel a lot more and be a lot more successful"
"They can’t comprehend the crypto market. The way how fast everything is moving and evolving with social media, it’s just a much better place for younger traders"
"We’re seeing Fortnite players and esports players move into crypto. It just has to do with speed and being young"
"My edge is my age. Compounding a spot portfolio at my age is going to be very helpful"
"I have an edge in getting narratives and finding these tokens before everybody else"
"Time is my edge. That’s the edge for a lot of these traders, but they’ll ultimately not be in the space long enough to reap the rewards of their edge"
Latte reveals the exact strategy for how to become profitable in crypto as a trader with a $500 portfolio.
"Keep your 500 bucks and don't deposit it. Keep most of it. You should probably not have it all in an account where you can full port it right away."
"Put 400 in a cold wallet or on your computer, and throw 100 on your fomo."
"Crypto is specific. The reasons things go up and down are so niche. You have to watch for weeks."
"If you want to start, you actually have to do it. You can't half-ass it, or you might as well use your $500 at a nice dinner."
"Spend an hour a day for two weeks following top traders, but don't copy them. Copy trading doesn't work."
"It comes down to screen time. You need to learn who has a voice that matters versus trolls making noise."
"Start shooting after a week with 10 to 20 bucks. You need 10,000 clips, reps, and hours if you're brand new."
"I started winning when I stopped trading new pairs and got better at selecting mid-caps."
"Use fomo, use trending, use 'most held'. 'Most held' is underrated for new people."
"Every time something runs to 15 or 20 million on fomo for the day with a lot of volume, it shoots up on 'most held' because a lot of people are holding it. That’s how you find those asymmetric opportunities."

I've known @stacy_muur for over 2 years, and we’ve worked together before, but never really had a proper conversation until I reached out recently.
That’s when I found out how much work she’s been putting into this. I went through her GTM content in Telegram and felt like I’d found a gold mine.
A few things that hit close to what I’m working on lately:
1. KOL and referral deals: why offering a commission alone often isn’t enough to get good creators interested.
2. Community campaigns: looking past signups to see whether people actually use the product and stick around.
3. Cold DMs: reaching out to people who already follow your work gives you a much warmer starting point.
4. Distribution: how communities and relationships can keep bringing people into a product over time.
If you’re working on growth, go give her a follow and dig through her posts. Plenty of gold in there.
