Now this is hating lol. Kerr mismanaged the whole situation. Start there.
Wait you mean JK is having success after finally embracing being a 4th option and just doing the little things? Like literally every sane Dubs fan & coach said for years?

This is allegedly one reason Kuminga would be benched. Yaxel is so lucky they suck; he gets to develop on a losing team like a regular lottery pick.
Steve Kerr on Yaxel Lendeborg's defense: "His weak-side awareness right now is very poor. And with his size, he should be one of our best defenders at the rim. And right now, he's unaware on the weak-side"

Yax is a bright spot in a hellish season

Georges Niang, a career 39.8% 3P shooter, has yet to hit a three since signing with the Warriors. 😒

can't tell if this is development or they're sacrificing dude
Steve Kerr on Yaxel Lendeborg: “He’s probably going to lead our team in minutes this season.” The rookie played 29 and 37 the first two games and will be needed for heavy minutes/usage in Phoenix tonight.

gotta be a Suns trap game.
Warriors starters tonight in Phoenix Brandon Williams Wil Richard Gui Santos Yaxel Lendeborg Graham Ike

it really has nothing to do with those 2, it’s poor coaching and strategy. Kerr admits this.

The top end talent that was supposed to be the stars in Wiseman and Kuminga were literally the opposite of system players and they flamed out 🤷🏽‍♂️

ironically this feels like the Warriors death lineup. Everyone defend multiple positions and even Dray at the time could reliably get you a double double.
You absolutely need multiple guys that can get buckets They don’t *need* to be able to get 30 that’s a plus but they do need to be able to score off the bounce Need POA defenders of course and a stretch big or two A rim protector as well I think the formula is changing

Yuuuuup. Warriors fans who are weirdly still obsessed with him look at the box score without watching the game and miss it all because they refuse to believe Kerr was absolutely wrong about him.
Jonathan Kuminga only took seven shots tonight (seventh most on the team), and yet he was probably the most impactful Timberwolves player on the floor. Eight rebounds, five assists, zero turnovers, and multiple dominant defensive possessions. Awesome stuff from him so far.

Finish the sentence. The Warriors lost the game tonight because ________. 🤔

coz none of them was small
How did we even win 4 championships playing small ball?

Y’all can try to hold on to that Kuminga hate gimmick all you want but if we wanna really talk ball, yall gotta admit that a Kuminga/Yaxel duo would’ve been such a bright future for this team but also so much of what this team needs rn. Their games would’ve fit eachother so well

Brandin Podziemski said he will not play tomorrow in Phoenix. So it sounds like the already depleted Warriors will also be without Steph Curry and Podziemski against the Suns. He missed the opener with a tweaked back.

The only thing Watson has over Kuminga is better PR. JK needs to join Klutch.

vast majority of ppl sit on their sofa to see their favorite very tall ppl pass, run and dunk. They not looking for stats and split action talk. This is why they’re valuable - grow the audience.
Am I the only one who finds it corny that the dudes doing halftime analysis openly dont know ball
