This is allegedly one reason Kuminga would be benched. Yaxel is so lucky they suck; he gets to develop on a losing team like a regular lottery pick.
Steve Kerr on Yaxel Lendeborg's defense: "His weak-side awareness right now is very poor. And with his size, he should be one of our best defenders at the rim. And right now, he's unaware on the weak-side"

Yuuuuup. Warriors fans who are weirdly still obsessed with him look at the box score without watching the game and miss it all because they refuse to believe Kerr was absolutely wrong about him.
Jonathan Kuminga only took seven shots tonight (seventh most on the team), and yet he was probably the most impactful Timberwolves player on the floor. Eight rebounds, five assists, zero turnovers, and multiple dominant defensive possessions. Awesome stuff from him so far.

Y’all can try to hold on to that Kuminga hate gimmick all you want but if we wanna really talk ball, yall gotta admit that a Kuminga/Yaxel duo would’ve been such a bright future for this team but also so much of what this team needs rn. Their games would’ve fit eachother so well

Going according to plan. Very intentional. They said this is what they were going to do.

Just in: Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski has agreed to a five-year, $110 million fully guaranteed rookie-scale contract extension, agent Bill Duffy of WME Basketball tells ESPN. The deal includes a mutual option in the fifth year (2031-32) and a trade kicker.

San Francisco still the cyberpunk future winner. I've been here *one* hour today and already seen two fighter jets fly over, many cars driving themselves, a drone delivery, a guy holding an anti-AI protest, someone keeled over on drugs, and had a great burrito.

Team USA is down 14 points to France in the FIBA Women's World Cup and if they lose there'll be a lot of people saying it's a roster issue. It's not. It's a # of things, but the biggest issue? The best player in the universe is missing in A'ja Wilson. She's THAT important

I think “Lack toast and tolerant” might be the great misspelling ever.
They getting jokes off on homie who typed milquetoast out as “milk toast” but that’s a typo/misunderstanding that I always thought worked. What is more bland than a meal of milk and toast?

It is sad how entrenched business lingo is in sports vernacular like why is everything “buy stock”, “maximization”, “indexing”, “invest in X player”. You often hear players talking about how basketball is like art/poetry so maybe we should try and reflect that too with our words.

Ballmer: “I’m not taking this lying down. This isn’t over, we can still fight this.” Kawhi:
Dying at how the Clips released a statement like “we will continue fight to clear our name of any fraudulent activity ” And Kawhi’s statement was like “Yes I did receive some transactions orchestrated by the Clippers Fraudulent Activity Department. My bad yall wont happen again”

Replying to @AJ23245
I can't imagine having a player come through my team's roster, and then spend all my time denigrating him, and then once he's gone, popping up on every single post about him for months/years after he's gone to tell everyone he sucks. That's unhinged behavior

I have never seen so much weird and negative hypotheticals happen after a trade. Kuminga to the Wolves has shown me some real nasty sides of people…
