Dr. Chevy Eugene of Dalhousie University reflected on reparations, drawing on Jamaican cultural thinker Rex Nettleford’s phrase, “inward stretch, outward reach.”
He called for Indigenous knowledge systems, #youth and the wider African #diaspora to be part of conversations on African liberation, freedom and the future, alongside #investment and #capital. He noted that #Africa has the history, expertise and radical imagination to think about what a new Africa could look like.
