The simple part is the wallet. The interesting part is the control plane.
You sign one XRPL Payment. Intent is packed into the memo/payment reference. FDC attests it, MasterAccountController maps that address to a PersonalAccount on Flare, then mint FXRP + vault deposit execute without an EVM key, without FLR gas, and without a second seed. ๐
After that itโs just allocation. One receipt token. Curator runs the strategy. You keep the XRPL key. ๐

Flare isnโt just building DeFi around XRP anymore.
Joining the XRPLF recommended validator list means Flare now has a direct voice in XRPL consensus โ validating new ledgers and voting on amendments.
Supporting the base layer that FXRP and the rest of the Flare ecosystem depend on. Long-term alignment, not just surface-level integration.

Very important to understand this: FSA Custom Instructions create the programmable account and authorization layer that will let credit products be built around an XRPL user.
Because of this, an XRP holder can sign once on XRPL and control a real lending position across multiple clains like Flare and Ethereum.
Custom actions can include borrowing, managing collateral, repaying and withdrawing, among many others.
Flare Smart Accounts allow you to do more than just mint FXRP. โก๏ธ
With Custom Instructions, an XRPL transaction can authorize a specific set of actions to be executed through your Smart Account on @FlareNetworks.
The 0xFE memo marks that XRPL payment as a Custom Instruction. It carries a commitment to the full Smart Account operation, so the executor can relay it, but cannot change what the user authorized.
That means an XRPL transaction can do things like mint FXRP, move it into a lending subaccount, bridge it to another chain and execute DeFi logic there, all from one signed intent.

Hi Flaremount, good question. The withdrawal flow has changed with Firelight 2.0, so the previous ~48-hour timeline no longer applies in the same way. Check your messageโ Iโve sent you the details on how the updated withdrawal process works.

DCENT has announced that there is an issue with their SOFTWARE wallet only. DCENT have stated that the Hardware based wallet is unaffected.
Through this DCENT exploit and based on information received from DCENT, we believe that 7 addresses that interacted with Flare are affected for a total amount of 30,507 XRP.
No deposits from these 7 addresses have been made to the Clearstar vault or have interacted with any other protocol on Flare.
Any loss, whilst unfortunate, is borne by the affected DCENT user. No Flare protocols or applications built on Flare are affected at the protocol level from this exploit. Nor does this exploit affect the solvency of any vaults, protocols or applications on Flare.
Based on the information we have at this time the total exposure of DCENT software wallet users is 30,507 XRP.
If you are worried that you may be affected by the DCENT software wallet exploit please contact DCENT directly.
Hey, thanks for clarifying ๐๐ป Since this is your first time staking and youโre seeing Flare (P) in Bifrost, it sounds like you used P-Chain staking with Price Kraken. You may not have done anything wrong, as P-Chain rewards are finalized based on the staking period rather than appearing like regular delegation rewards. Can you check the stake in Bifrost and tell me the end date/status it shows? Thatโll help narrow down exactly whatโs happening. @Zeviax3

Been a FLR holder from the beginning. Only delegating until recently. I took a small amount to stake on Bifrost for the first time about 3 or 4 weeks ago and I have not seen any rewards. I put it with Price Kracken.
No idea what to do, what I'm doing wrong, etc. Frustrating
That doesnโt sound right. If you staked with Stakeway and received no rewards while the position appears ~2,300 FLR lower, Iโd check the staking transaction and validator performance before assuming those FLR were actually lost. SparkDEX is a different DeFi strategy, so its returns and risks arenโt directly comparable to native P-Chain staking. Which wallet did you stake from, and do you have the transaction hash?

I just staked with โStakewayโ and I did not earn any rewards this go around. When I installed I noticed I was down about 2300 FLR tokens. Isnโt it the same if I stake on SparkDex? I seem to earn more FLR doing that. Dolphin amount, not much.

Hi Alain! Got it. Since youโve only been staking for two weeks and havenโt initiated a withdrawal before, the staking duration isnโt the blocker. The Step 4/4 failure indicates the redemption transaction isnโt being confirmed after signing. Are you seeing a transaction hash in your DโCENT history for that failed attempt? @Stewieaf2
Hey Jason, completely understand. Youโre not the only one whoโs had that experience with Xaman. The important distinction is that the ~50 XRP shown in that example isnโt the normal XRPL network fee, itโs a 0.5% service fee tied to that specific yield product. So moving away from Xaman alone wouldnโt necessarily eliminate it. Have you tried FXRP or any of the newer Flare yield options since then? @Tripolarsoul123

JUST IN: Firelight @Firelightfi raised $8M led by @GumiCryptos to backstop DeFi vaults using staked XRP on Flare.
The @SentoraHQ-incubated cover protocol already holds $76M in XRP, with first integrations launching this month into a market where onchain protection covers just 0.1% of DeFi.
First integrations go live this month.

Thatโs one of the trade-offs with staking through a centralized exchange like Uphold. Since FIP.16, the reward structure has evolved, so exchange-based staking may not capture the same opportunities available on-chain. Are you currently keeping all your FLR on Uphold, or do you also use a self-custody wallet? @still4401

Good day, Kelly. If youโre using Xaman, youโre most likely accessing Upshift through the Flare Smart Account, not the Monarq vault shown here. Monarq currently offers the higher yield ~6-14% , so youโd need to change the strategy directly through your Flare Smart Account. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the process. @xrpkelly
