AI assistant companies in 2026 should prioritize frontend functionality and integrations as much as they do model performance.
For the average consumer, the best model is useless if not coupled with functionality that allows them to connect to a multitude of apps and easily generate files like docx, xlsx, PDFs, etc.
For a moment I thought OpenAI was winning here, but the clear winner in my book today is @AnthropicAI.
Opus 4.5 coupled with Claude’s frontend functionality is amazing for daily work. Crazy to think how much better things will get in the next few months.
