Several teachers. A counselor. A reading or math specialist. That's what a $2k per-pupil funding gap costs a 400-student public charter school each year. The Council's first budget vote was a real step forward, but the job isn't done. Final vote: 6/23. #CloseTheGap #NotWorthLess

$15.7M for public charters—that's what the Council's first budget vote delivered, helping #CloseTheGap by ~30%. Thank you @ChmnMendelson, @CMZacharyParker, @cmdonicrawford, @CMWendellFelder, @CMBrookePinto, @CMLewisGeorgeW4 for fighting for ALL students. 👉bit.ly/3QiAd9x
