Lead planner of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers COB CSRM Project Team assured me today that all comment letters on USACE's Feasibility Study will be published. Hat's off to the City's climate team for its groundbreaking collab w/USACE. My letter to USACE: fortpointer.com/Archive/2026…

Outstanding talk today with author/reporter Courtney Humphries at @BPLBoston regarding her new book “Climate Change and the Future of Boston.” The paperback edition is now available! Read it already — highly recommend. @cehumphries

Unsurprisingly, Sen. Collins joined Clr, Flynn in calling for cancellation of today’s Southie block party, similarly mischaracterizing the host — a Southie resident — as a commercial event promoter.
Photos of the lovely block party that Councilor Flynn tried to cancel, and will very likely blow up in the Herald and Mass Daily News. Flynn has already trashed the host as “an influencer of some sort,” a Southie resident that I understand lives around the corner, on Broadway.

Will a friend or relative of Councilor Flynn identify some petty issue to blow up at today’s Southie block party, so Flynn can trash the Wu admin in the Herald and Mass Daily News tomorrow? I’ll be on O Street taking bets.
The Good Neighbor Cafe’s block party on O Street starts at 10:00 AM today, Saturday 10/24. ☕🥯 Councilor Flynn is trying to put the kabosh on the event, despite the fact that the City of Boston reviewed the application, awarded a small grant, and issued a permit.

These Beacon Hill homeowners were installing racks of bananas yesterday, under Curious George’s watchful eye. 🐵🍌

Rat control has been a bit too aggressive in Beacon Hill, in my opinion. Pic taken yesterday. 🐀

As a concerned citizen i too am concerned that a pop up coffee event could turn into rioting
The City of Boston should not allow tomorrow’s event to go forward. I’m concerned about the lack of any community engagement and no public safety plan. The event is supported by city funds and with city approval. SB residents deserve to be included and treated with respect!

The Executive Director of Boston Policy Institute blocked me on all platforms because he was unhappy with my occasional critiques of his and BPI's work, always leveled respectfully. Will @PioneerPolicy allow Maynard's immature approach to criticism to continue? cc @JimStergios

I have a deep personal appreciation for municipal employees, and really love the fact that BMRB’s Shattuck Awards honors a few each year. Here’s the 2026 list of awardees. 🙏🏼

Shane Pac, @BOSCityCouncil Director of Policy and Research, was a Shattuck Award recipient this evening. So well-deserved. 🔥💯🙏🏼

On the topic of dark money nonprofits with undisclosed backers, media darling Greg Maynard of the 501c4 boiler room formerly known as “Boston Policy Institute” has joined the 501c4 Pioneer Institute. bostonpolicynotes.substack.c…

Interior of USPS Dot Ave is under construction, but when it comes to holiday decorations, USPS employees never disappoint. And I mean “never.” ❤️

More from the guy who, just yesterday, fabricated a story about Bromfield St. from whole cloth, smearing Wu and Healey, and who the Globe lends its imprimatur to week after week, featured without full disclosure as to who pays his bills (reportedly GOP sugar daddy Rick Green).

While media darling Paul Craney continues to promulgate falsehoods without accountability, the Globe fails to inform readers that Craney is ED of a 501(c)4 "dark money" nonprofit funded by undisclosed backers. A boiler room operation. The symbiotic relationship is disgusting.

And FTR, here's the development plan for 11-21 Bromfield St, with an LOI filed in June. Craney somehow wasn't aware of the history of this block. bostonplans.org/projects/dev…
