Multiple Ohio venues are canceling or dropping Vivek Ramaswamy’s bus tour stops after his ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother—who stayed with the stepfather charged with raping Acton at 12.
Old Dog Ale House & Brewery in Delaware canceled a GOP ticket event. A Sunday service at CrossPointe Church in Westerville disappeared from the tour page. A Trumbull County stop now has no location listed.
A top Ohio Republican: “We’re getting calls that people don’t want him there. It’s that damn ad.” Gov. DeWine called it wrong and urged it taken down.

The Plain Dealer wasn’t going to endorse in the Gov race, but Ramaswamy’s vileness, and Acton’s great campaign, convinced them to change their minds.
