Everyone's on about Tarkowski vs West Ham this week because they've conceded from corners in every single GW so far. But here's the catch: Everton's corner routine is basically identical to the one West Ham keep collapsing against, near-post screens to block runs and overload, before isolating a man at the far post. But the funny thing is Tarkowski isn't the end target of that routine. He's the screener. The players actually on the end of those passes and shots so far are O'Brien and Keane, both leading Everton for attempts from these exact situations. So yes, West Ham are vulnerable and a goal from a corner feels written in the stars. But if you’re advising Tarkowski purely because of "every week they concede from corners", that's a bit of lazy research, the numbers and eye-test suggest it's O'Brien or Keane who are the real threats. #FPL
