From the 1960s to ~2020, psychedelics were viewed (by most) as a path out of mainstream society & duties. Now, w/ the incredible work of @RCarhartHarris @Drug_Researcher @NolanRyWilliams @MAPS @michaelpollan & others, psychedelics are being viewed as a way to re-engage w/work, family, self & society. The same frame shift occurred with meditation albeit a bit earlier. Same compounds, but with vastly different science/clinical support & different outcomes in mind. Exciting and interesting.
