Spent a bit more time in @Blender trying to do a product vis shot of the Samsung S27 Ultra in 4 colours with a better transition than the last one. Also tried adding a privacy display demo to the notification at the top, but it didn't quite work out as planned. Using the leaked One Ui 9.5 update screen seemed like a good idea at the time to make it more of a genuine concept reproduction but in hindsight, a standard Samsung wallpaper would've worked better. All fun and games. If you use #Blender or work on product vis - feel free to send me some tips. @OTOY's OCtane is also a LOT easier to use than Cycles, but maybe that's because I'm used to it.

Thanks @caren633881, yeah the HDRI's I downloaded to start with were a bit random - and cycles is pretty foreign to me! I'm using Octane this time round and it's looking better already. It's been about 5-6 years or something I think since I sat down and actually rendered something properly. I forgot how addictive it is! I kinda gave up on it when Ai video gen started getting good and Cinema 4d costs so much now. But Blenders pretty cool.

That's not well thought out 🤔 So much for "it's got MagSafe" Useless for using Maps while driving - which is an awesome experience on most other foldables with a MagSafe case on.

10 points to anyone who notices the major flaw first... (There's a few but this one's by far the biggest).

Looks like some people have already got their hands on multiple Apple Duo units... Meanwhile the Oppo N6 still remains king of the creaseless foldables... 👇🏼

Both the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and OPPO Find N6 are impressively slim foldables. But it's pretty striking how the latter was able to significantly reduce its crease, visually as well as tactilely.

Thought I'd have a mess around with @Blender for the first time in a long while amd try and knock up some Samsung S27 Ultra renders. The video transition needs a lot of work, the materials need finishing, the lighting needs polishing etc. Blender is a LOT different to Cinema 4d - and it's been too long since I watched a @nickvegas @GSG3D tutorial, so they're a far stretch from when I had Octane and a tower rig set up, heating my flat for me. I'll get these finished tomorrow though and see how they turn out...

3d printed a few models of the S27 Ultra too - although apart from seeing what the camera bump looks like in real life, there's not much takeaway from having the full model...
