Cloud Providers Can’t Forget What Enterprises Actually Run The cloud industry loves the next big thing. Serverless, AI, machine learning, Kubernetes, IoT, managed platforms — all of it gets attention, funding and keynote time. And to be fair, much of it deserves that attention. But enterprises still run on the fundamentals. Most companies moving to public cloud are not rebuilding every application from scratch. They are migrating existing workloads, refactoring some of them, and depending heavily on basic infrastructure services: compute, storage, networking, operations, security and management. That is where most of the real enterprise consumption still happens. The challenge for IaaS providers is balance. They need to keep pushing higher-level services because those capabilities will eventually become mainstream workhorses. But they cannot do that at the expense of the core platform services customers depend on today. The winners in cloud will not simply be the providers with the flashiest new services. They will be the ones that make everyday infrastructure cheaper, more reliable, easier to manage and more productive, while still giving enterprises a credible path to adopt the next generation of cloud-native technologies when they are ready. Innovation matters. But so does operational reality. That was the point I explored in this TechTarget article: techtarget.com/news/IaaS-pro…

Telecom just became one of the most important infrastructure stories in AI, and it is still not getting enough attention. As AI moves beyond centralized data centers, fiber, 5G, edge computing, and intelligent networks become part of the intelligence stack itself. The next AI advantage may not only come from the model. It may come from the network behind it. #AI #Telecom #5G #EdgeComputing #AIInfrastructure

Patching a vulnerability doesn't kick an attacker out of your system. We've been talking about PHP2Shell for almost a week now. The patches are available, and hopefully everyone has been updating. But there's an important new development. 1/9

🤖 Is AI really as objective as we think? We often assume artificial intelligence provides neutral, fact-based answers. But what happens when AI inherits the biases hidden within the data it learns from? 🧠 AI bias is one of the biggest challenges facing the responsible use of artificial intelligence. From recruitment and financial decisions to healthcare, business strategy and everyday research, biased AI outputs can reinforce stereotypes, overlook important perspectives and influence decisions in ways we might not even realise. The solution isn't simply to stop using AI. It's to learn how to challenge it. ✅ Question the assumptions behind AI-generated answers. ✅ Ask for alternative perspectives and opposing arguments. ✅ Look for missing information and potential biases. ✅ Verify important claims against reliable sources. Most importantly, don't confuse a confident AI response with an unbiased or accurate one. AI should help us think more critically, not replace our critical thinking. 🚀 💬 Do you think AI can ever be completely free from bias? 👇 #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #AIBias #ResponsibleAI #AIEthics #CriticalThinking #ChatGPT #GenerativeAI #AITrust #PromptEngineering #FutureOfAI #AITips
