Hey remember a month ago when Americans were going EVROPE IS DOOMED because the right-wing government in Sweden lost one seat?
The left-wing opposition parties can't form a government because the Left Party won't budge on their demand to get cabinet seats and the Centre Party won't budge on their demand that the Left Party be excluded. The first investiture vote for the Social Democrats already failed and the Centre Party (which only has 25 seats out of a 349-seat parliament) has been handed the mandate to form a government, with the deadline being Monday.
There's also a gigantic electoral fraud investigation going on centered on a Somali who only got Swedish citizenship a few months ago somehow getting elected to parliament despite being a total unknown.
Assuming the Centre and Left parties don't budge, Sweden either holds a snap election or the right-wing coalition is reinstalled.
Americans who don't understand European parliamentary government should just shut the fuck up, just like Europeans who don't understand the American presidential system (and thus think the Democrats winning the midterms is meaningful in any way) should shut the fuck up.

From a conservative / Austrian perspective, which I tend to agree with, the prolonged low rates / QE (including the Fed’s $2.7 trillion(!) in mortgage-backed securities) was an activist /progressive approach to suppressing the natural interest rate to try and artificially stimulate demand, protect asset values, and avoid natural market corrections.
In my humble opinion (and others way smarter than me) this “easy money” regime of the last 15+ years was extremely damaging and obviously inflationary: it distorted market price signals, screwed up time preferences, fueled terrible investments and created dangerous asset bubbles -especially in housing.
Their selfish financial meddling created so many of our current problems: housing unaffordability, increased ealth inequality, moral hazards all over the place, and delayed natural market adjustments. Too many to list.
These were really bad, dangerous, selfish, stupid manipulations of stuff they have no business messing with. And look where we are because of it. Corrupt fools.

The paper gives no specifics on how sex, sexuality, or gender should be redefined, but claims that "colonial influence manifests in data collection through adherence to a medical norm of male/female bodies."
So "male" and "female" seem to be on the chopping block.
