Wow, Democrat Campaign Chair Suzan DelBene (D-WA) TORCHED by CNBC hosts over Democrat Mary Peltola election rigging scandal in Alaska 🎥 Andrew Ross Sorkin: “You don't believe the report at all?” “You don't believe, You genuinely don't believe it happened. Do you want to know if it happened? ... As a human, as a citizen, if you're watching this play out and you say to yourself, this is crazy?” For 4+ minutes, DelBene insists she believes Peltola & her campaign had NOTHING to do with placing a fake Dan Sullivan on the ballot after bombshell NYTimes investigation, complete with text message evidence, sparking multiple federal & criminal investigations DelBene goes on a whataboutism tangent: “Well, the campaign has been clear that they deny what happened … Republicans from the very beginning have been set up trying to rig the system” ➡️Joe Kernen: “Chairwoman, it's good you got that, you know, not a lot of DelBenes around so you probably have, Democrats won't be able to find anyone to run against”

I am speechless. Thomas Aquinas College just dropped a study on the rigor of the new SAT. It compares the 1980/87 test with 2026. The findings should terrify every parent and teacher... Vocabulary has collapsed. Old SAT: 70.6% of questions tested vocab. New SAT: 15%. The old test forced students to know a wide range of words through analogies, antonyms, and sentence completions. The new test abandoned that. Most vocab questions now just ask students to fill in one blank from context. Reading passages also got radically shorter (average ~97 words vs 300–340). The new test uses short expository passages and hands you the necessary background knowledge inside the text. The older tests leaned much more heavily on argumentative and persuasive writing, assumed far more historical, scientific, and cultural knowledge, and penalized students who lacked it. This is a redefinition of what "college readiness" means. If you believe that kids should develop rigorous vocabulary, be capable of sustained reading, and possess background knowledge, I have bad news for you. The SAT no longer measures these. If you want a future where children can actually read difficult texts and construct complex arguments, the SAT must be replaced now. This cannot go on.
We were concerned that the SAT has become a less reliable measure of student preparedness for a rigorous college curriculum. So, we commissioned a study from Johns Hopkins University. What does this study tell us about the state of higher education? The results are shocking. thaq.co/4iLThZ0

It turns on the guy is an awesome husband and Dad who was grieving the death of a friend that night. He had offered to take the baby but his wife wanted him to have it a little bit easier that night. After seeing the Internet tear him apart, she wrote a blog about what a great man he is. It’s good reflection for how quickly the internet casts judgement off of one clip. Read it here: themomoftheyear.substack.com…

This school receives $52,389 in funding per student. Yes, per student.
This is a genuinely insane paragraph. What are we even doing here, man.

Look what I found. In October 2009, David Axelrod, senior adviser to the Obama administration, argued on ABC News that Fox News was not a “real news organization.” The Obama White House later excluded Fox News from a pool interview with Treasury official Kenneth Feinberg and denied that there had been an effort to exclude Fox. But in 2011, after Judicial Watch obtained emails, the documents showed that the Obama administration had, in fact, specifically asked that Fox News be excluded from the interview pool. Just remember: the rules are for thee, not for me.

This Canadian woman was given MAID as her only choice for stage 4 cancer in Deathcare Canada. She went to the US and death was not the option the doctors there gave her. Canadian healthcare used to be good, it is now in desperate fear of collapse. They're bringing in doctors who did not study in Canada and whatever else that entails. I find the healthcare in the US unquestionably superior. Health insurance is the same since I don't pay income tax in Florida, I pay it on insurance. There is immediate, private healthcare if you need it. Medically assisted suicide is not an option they offer.

‘Never Forget’ requires those us who lived through 9/11 to recount our experiences in visceral detail. A day on which my 16-year-old self heard a rumor that my dad had been killed. A day on which 12 people from my town didn’t come home. The worst day. washingtonexaminer.com/in_fo…

With the first plane, people still thought, or hoped, that it was a crazy accident and people could be saved from the fire. When the second plane hit you could hear entire TV studio crews gasp loudly on air. That was when everyone instantly knew 9/11 was a terrorist attack.

Good lord you are ignorant! When Mel Carnahan (D-MO) — died in a plane crash in October 2000 his widow Jean Carnahan was appointed to the seat. Hale Boggs (D-LA) — House Majority Leader died in a plane crash in 1972; his widow Lindy Boggs took his place and served until 1991. Debbie Dingell replaced John Dingell. The list goes on. Learn something about America!
If this happened in some other country, we would laugh at their backwardness. Some in Washington would argue they must be bombed...
