I’ve been working in the brokerage industry since 2011, watching charts dance, admiring hundreds of thousands of client strategies, executing every millisecond.
I’ve seen your favourite IG traders blow up millions and still full seminar rooms teaching their tricks to the next group of dream chasers. Remember, the car wasn’t bought with pips, it was by selling this dream of riches by clicking a button. On the flip side, I’ve seen the most silent assassins consistently make money, all the time, turning literal thousands into 8 figures. Profits move in silence, thats the key to this. If you’re making money, you don’t need to tell the world, look after your family instead.
The reality although is well known, most clients lose money, and it’s all due to human emotion. Leverage is a double edge sword and if you are motivated by short term wins, it will slice you into vulnerability. Turn your heart into an ice cube, trade without fear and your results follow.

Take precautions. 🚨🚨🚨
Don't get SCAMMED.
Don't go sharing info or dropping cash if you get emails like that.

In the meantime, can go follow @retailAle
Low follower account for now, but very on eval world topic, and is actively posting updates from different evaluation companies concerning current developments

You are right
3x MFFX
Over
2x surge
For same money
Despite 8% > 6%
Was speed-typing all this from memory, and skipped my mind that Surge was only 10:1

TFF being only retail prop included in this batch update of the list seems pretty random
IMO if this was some organized warning against prop firms we would see other mentioned as well

Monday, June 19 is Juneteenth Holiday
Futures: Monday is an early HALT day
Sunday thru Tuesday are cleared as a single session as far as loss limits are concerned
CFD broker times will also be affected
Ninjatrader users might want to check if they need to take care of this update over the long weekend.

Props are welcome to trade against the traders all they want
It's very difficult to do in CFDs
If any firm was able to find a way, they would give out evaluations for almost free, just to have traders to fade
And those who can actually trade would still get paid
Win-Win
Using 3rd party solutions automatically lowers margins by having to cut in third party. Likely results in worse conditions to increase profits per eval sold
3rd party prop tech and liquidity provider has 0 interest in trader success (the conflict). Unless it's a rare A book unicorn
Thus, it's impossible to have all 3 parties benefit in zero-sum game of retail prop trading involving:
- trader
- 3rd party LP/tech
- prop firm
Having just the trader and prop firm without a 3rd party is a plus most of the time

Slowly getting there thru seemingly random series of posts
For Forex prop firm ecosystem to function properly and be able to offer such high drawdown per fee paid
Trading conditions can not be known

Thank you! Glad you find it interesting / useful
Forex retail prop world is very fascinating and complicated
And lest active and most taboo conversation are:
- knowing what you are buying
- knowing what you are trading
- knowing best place to trade for your instruments/style
.. and those are the only 3 things that matter in prop trading with trusted companies
Fortunately things are moving very fast in the right direction. And there has never been a better time for underfunded retail trader.
If you bring the trading , you will make money

Very common and happens to everyone. A mental thing we have to work on overcoming.
We have to try to identify and avoid spiraling out-of-control triggers

Really appreciate the opportunity
However there a strict no-media policy currently
Being invisible nobody allows to properly evaluate programs & practices through abuse and lense of invisible nobodies, see
teapaw.org/FundTraders/stat…
Preferential treatment leading to promotion of at best - trader unfriendly programs, at worst - complete scams, is something that must be avoided

Nothing is a coincidence with these retail prop / funded trader things, it's all priced to perfection
Deal hunting for best-in-niche is the way IMO
Unfortunately, nobody volunteered to give away best of all worlds for free yet

Two leaders IMO:
Just need to decide what's important to you
They use same quotes, unclear what liquidity, more liquid than the rest
@trueforexfunds - refundable fee, some commission
@CFTradercom - non-refundable fee, no commission
>~450 live funded BTC vol makes up for refund on $200k account
I don't research nor know anybody successfully trading size in minor shitcoins

Being a degen is a very fun and potentially rewarding recreational activity
As long as you don't act like a risk management professional wronged by prop firm rules after failure
How I look at Darrell Martin's Megayacht and graveyard of degen traded failed evals

Long story short:
- main advantage of props is using their risk, not your own
$50k in my hands is about $500K in prop drawdown. Better to be exposed to gains from that even if at tax disadvantage
- consult tax professionals, I'm not one
- likely you will be nudged toward trading as LLC

Realistically, if you trade "properly" you cant trade aggressively enough to meet funding requirements and stay alive during 10 day losing streak
Nature of retail props, it is what it is, amazing high leverage opportunities

I'm not smart enough to know what the market will do, even if I had the data ahead of time
Just trying to stay out of the way of potential big news reactions and not violate prop firm news trading rules
Just trade price and flows once things settle

The goal is to help traders navigate complicated fast-moving space, w/o calling out any companies by name.
IMO New/Booming Industry is very short-sighted
Regulation of trading components will be big enough hurdle. We could do without bamboozling customers as a part of business
