Hi this is our turbo mode and the unit had not even had a chance to tune(it tunes down to about 330 watts in turbo after 15 minutes). Our normal modes are super quiet in the 10-15TH range.

It’s about 2 years with current bitcoin price, of course this changes all the time as price goes up over time. The point is not “roi” just like you don’t ask what the roi of your iPhone is, the value exists elsewhere. It’s about decentralizing the Bitcoin network, and securing your own Bitcoin.

The “worth” of our system goes beyond the lottery angle, that is just to get people interested. Our real mission is to decentralize the Bitcoin network, and that requires millions mining at home to accomplish!

Point of discussion is solo mining odds, vs traditional lotteries. And 899 device is not expected to mine 85k worth of BTC in a year 😉

Incorrect, this is true for each block attempt, but each miner is competing for 144 blocks per day, so you are playing the lottery 144 times per day when there is usually only one “powerball” draw per day or less. This is why solo mining has orders of magnitude better chances!

Hey @grok how long would it take to mine one bitcoin @ 18TH/s at current difficulty, and is it realistic to mine one bitcoin with an $899 device?

Have you reached out to support? Might be able to help though we are no longer repairing original Apollo’s since they are over 5 years old. We do have past customer upgrade programs though!
