5 REASONS TO THANK GOD TODAY:
1. He woke you up today.
2. It’s a new day.
3. You have food to eat.
4. Roof over your head.
5. He will never abandon you.
Glad for our seniors to get their win on their night. But also, prayers for the Northview player who received medical aid and transport. Athletic trainers on both sides are necessary at each game glad we got a great one on our sideline.

DO YOUR JOB
“One of the things I liked most about working for you,” Saban said to Belichick, “I knew exactly what to expect [and] what you expected from me. I worked other places and that was never, ever clearly defined. It’s amazing to me how many people work with or for someone and it’s just assumed that they know what you’d like them for them to do. I thought that whether it was the players that we brought to the team, the people that worked in personnel or whatever, you defined for them and then you let them do their job.”

No Deposit. No Return.
One of the first lessons I ever taught my teams.
Want the return? You have to make the deposit first.
Time. Effort. Preparation. Sacrifice.
Everything is earned.
It’s Lesson #1 in Culture WINS. 🏆

Yo D coordinators…why give any on the ball WRs a free release?
Asking for a friend…. 🚂🖤💛
“We get to practice” not “we have to practice”. Change the mindset. Everyone is on board, no matter what when times are good and winning. But when times are bad and losing, we have “no shows, mysterious injuries, claim not knowing practice schedule.”

Coach your backups like they're going to play, because at some point they will. The programs that stay steady through injuries rep the twos like they matter.
Give them real reps, same standard. Depth isn't luck, you build it every week.
Heatwave coming so everyone has to be flexible with practice times. Parents understand why your team may have to practice early in the morning or later in the evening this week. That’s my Football TedTalk for the week. 🤘🏽
Getting a call you never want to get as a coach or parent. Losing young men too early in life will never be easy. We hope to inspire them to be great parents, workers, and community members. But some never get that chance. RIP Will “The Thrill”.

Comfort makes you feel good. Accountability makes you better.
Don’t mistake being challenged for being doubted.
Sometimes being pushed is the clearest sign someone believes in you.
