Tomorrow we’re taking G back to Newcastle for his jej tube. Last week it took over two hours to get in, then it came out the next day. His tummy absorbs only around 10%, so he relies on feeding beyond his stomach. He goes through so much and never moans. Wish us luck .. he’s been taping it up all week.

George’s feeding tube came out the same evening it was fitted on Friday, so we now need to make the two-hour drive to Newcastle for a replacement. We appreciate you all so much.

From when G was tiny, I’ve always been his advocate. As long as he has life in him, I’ll keep fighting for him.
I fought to get him to a new hospital when we were told to take him home to die. I fought for him to get a place at primary school when no school in our area would take him. And now I’m fighting not only for him, but for others affected by heart disease and disability.
He shouldn’t have to worry about funding or where the money is coming from. He should just be able to enjoy being a child.

Noah took the youngest member of our family to the beautiful nature reserve in Embsay, where there’s a bench in memory of my late dad. He was clerk to the parish council for over 30 years. It’s a very special place to our family ❤️

@martin Chancellor, our grandson relies on a ventilator, feeding pump and other medical equipment. With night carers, heating and lights stay on overnight. Our energy bills are nearly double a typical household’s. Will there be extra help for families like ours? #MartinLewis
