The IOS sessions at SEAs is a great event each year, and in great hands with Garrett and Marco organizing the sessions. This year in Houston promises to be an especially good time with @LeistenEcon organizing some fun get togethers for participants.

New paper w/ @GarrettEdScott of @OleMiss_Econ and @AlexMarshEcon of Bates White studies the introduction of upgrade auctions by airlines. We find that strategic consumers and the airline's lack of commitment to not award upgrades can negatively impact profits.
