We had a packed house in Myrtle Beach today! South Carolina families are fired up, and Senator @tedcruz always brings the energy. This election could not be more important, and we need everyone to get out and vote Republican.

South Carolina has everything it needs to become the best financially run state in America. It starts with business discipline, reliable numbers and real accountability for how taxpayer dollars are spent. That is the job I’m running to do. Early voting continues this week. Don't forget to get and out vote !!

As expected, USC will cut Tennessee a check for half a million. Tennessee wrote one for the same amount to Alabama last week, so easy go, easy come.

Great meeting with textile leaders recently in Spartanburg. These men and women represent thousands of South Carolinians working in the American textile industry. When it comes to the procurement of goods bought with taxpayer dollars for the United States government like military uniforms, federal law enforcement uniforms, PPE, etc., we must maintain our strict enforcement of Buy America and the Berry Amendment. America must never allow countries like Cambodia, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Mexico to make our military and law enforcement uniforms, and PPE. No waivers, no exceptions!

Just wrapped up Day 5 on the bus, and the Pee Dee is fired up! We started the day in Hartsville, made our way to Chesterfield, and ended in Florence. Rural South Carolina is special and shouldn’t be left behind. It won’t be forgotten when I’m Governor. Thanks for coming out!

These are not small offices. Commerce, Corrections, Medicaid, Social Services, Administration and even the Comptroller General’s office were among 51 state agencies that did not receive audits of their own last year. Taxpayers deserve to understand what was checked and what was not. Watch the new episode of Show Me the Money. youtu.be/7zLoaGwMqPs?si=WlHB…

Here’s the truth about Annie Andrews— During my tenure in office, she consistently LED the radical Left on issue after issue. She was a leading (paid) gun control advocate. She was a leading “medical expert” who pushed masking (and vaccinating) school children, and opposed our efforts to protect medical freedoms during COVID. She criticized us when the @SCFreedomCaucus shut down a taxpayer-funded pediatric transgender clinic. She said our state ban on men playing in women’s sports was “shameful,” and recently said ICE is “deeply unAmerican.” She wants to grow government, fund abortions, grab guns, regulate anything with a pulse, block immigration enforcement, etc, etc, etc… She’s not just a Democrat. She is a radical Leftist who spent years undermining our rights, economy, and security. Her recent about-face into a “moderate” waders-wearing normie is risible (and nauseating). I agree with her that the campaign is bigger than party—our nation is on the line. That’s why I am voting for Darline.
This campaign is bigger than party — it's about who will represent for the people of South Carolina and not the political class in Washington, DC. I'm grateful to have the support of the Norman family.

Rural South Carolina pays its share and deserves to see what it gets back. Every agency audited, every dollar on one clear page, spending growth held to population plus inflation. Proud to run with Alan Wilson. #scpol

Families make better decisions with their money than government does. That's why SC's income tax should keep coming down and state spending growth should be held to population plus inflation. The main account doubled from $7B to $14B in ten years. #scpol"
Individuals and families—not government—make the best decisions about their families' health, education, jobs, and welfare. @SenMikeLee

🚛 South Carolina truckers, this one’s for you! With rising fuel costs putting more pressure on our trucking industry, we asked the SC Department of Public Safety to suspend routine dyed diesel fuel inspections, and we’re glad to see action being taken! These inspections are now suspended through December 31, 2026, helping reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens on the hardworking truckers who keep our state moving. We’ll keep looking for ways to cut red tape, lower costs, and make it easier to do business in South Carolina!
Given the uncertainty of regulation permitting the use of dyed fuel in other states, the South Carolina State Transport Police has suspended routine dyed fuel inspections on commercial vehicles through December 31, 2026. The State Transport Police will continue all other commercial motor vehicle safety enforcement, including size & weight, hazardous material inspections, and general traffic enforcement.

Last year, 51 South Carolina agencies did not receive audits of their own. The tools to audit every agency now exist, and the Comptroller General sits on the board that selects the State Auditor. That seat should be used to push for better oversight. One state document, every Tuesday, free: count.burkhold.net/p/we-cant…
