It looks like @netanyahu will lose the election in Israel and the Republicans will lose the midterms because of Trump. Very dangerous for Iran. Both men are desperate. Kudos to Iran for not being intimidated and not giving up against bullies and liars. Our hearts are with you.

What a very strange thing to ‘often think to’ yourself. I have played Portadown, Lisburn to name a couple of Golf Clubs in the North, that have Union Jacks flying on a mast as you enter the club… Mad when you’re not looking to be offended by everything, how easy life becomes 🤷‍♂️
Just passed a GAA match and I often think to myself, what other sport claims to be “inclusive” and open to everyone, but flys a national flag at it when it’s not even an international match. The answer, none? To my knowledge.

Portadown District have won, not only in establishing and embedding a legal right, but in managing to force the exposure of two tier policing and showing up the entire structure of institutions for what they are. Profound consequences must mean what it means.

He’s fucking BACK 👊 worried they’d got to him but the 🐐 returns
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

What a very strange Tweet about someone who literally framed her dog for shitting in her partner’s bed. That’s it, I’m convinced CERN moved us into a parallel universe or something since 2016. What timeline are we now living in? 🙈🤣
Few years ago I was at a book launch in Botanic Avenue and Amber Heard was in the audience, she was friends with the author, she asked me not to say anything at the time as she was quietly holidaying so of course I didn’t, I’m glad to see her now happy and out the other side ❤️

Simon Andriesz, the British banker who uncovered 2018 emails linking Howard Lutnick to Jeffrey Epstein’s Adfin investment and took them to House Oversight, has died at age 57. BBC reported his findings. Lutnick later admitted to visiting the island but not the business dealings.
Simon Andriesz @SAndriesz has died. He took his own life this week, while staying at a trauma treatment centre, the same place he had gone to try to survive what years of fighting had done to him. I wrote the piece below about him at the start of August. We last spoke on 13 August. Reading my own words back now feels different. Heavier. I did not know then that this would be the last chapter. Simon gave me his story directly. The embezzlement he uncovered, the fraud he reported, the heart attacks, the police complaints, the years @TheFCA spent doing almost nothing while his life fell apart around him. He handed the CFTC and HMRC enough to secure real fines. He handed the BBC enough for a full documentary. And still the one regulator that was supposed to protect him let him carry all of it alone for 7 years. He was one of the most credible people I have ever spoken to. Everything he told me checked out. And he still ended up broken by the very system meant to catch people like him when they fell. I am angry writing this. Angry that a man this capable, this thorough, this willing to hand over evidence and testimony for years, was left to fight completely alone until he could not fight anymore. Simon Andriesz deserved better. Rest in peace. If you are struggling right now, please do not go through it alone. BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Simon Andriesz, the British banker who revealed Howard Lutnick’s ties to child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, has been found dead of an alleged "suicide.” Lutnick, who also profited heavily off 9/11, was later tapped as Trump's Commerce Secretary where he's since made billions for his company by trading on tariff discounts.

Simon has been found dead, reportedly from "suicide." RIP to Simon and to all whistleblowers who have died too young. The truth about Lutnick will never die
I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21. Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story: bbc.com/audio/play/m002yx47 BBC News: bbc.com/news/articles/c9q28d… I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors. My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher. I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day. The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me. Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly: motherjones.com/politics/202… motherjones.com/politics/202… Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.

Tonight at Gillette Stadium, Zach Bryan, one of the biggest country music artists in the world, wore a Free Palestine shirt onstage. Gillette Stadium is owned by Robert Kraft, who pushed Ed Sheeran and his promoter to drop Macklemore from his tour. Bryan isn’t just a major country artist. He is one of the biggest live draws in music, filling stadiums across the United States and in major cities around the world. Bryan served eight years on active duty in the US Navy and served overseas in Bahrain and Djibouti. Members of Bryan’s band also wore shirts supporting the Palestinian cause, including his drummer, who wore a jersey honoring the memory of Hind Rajab. Zach Bryan has a second show at Gillette Stadium tomorrow, Saturday night.
