If poor and low-income Americans voted at the same rate as higher-income citizens, they could sway elections in every single state(!). Low-income Americans must unleash this power — and politicians must give them a powerful, tangible enough vision to draw them to the polls.

Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon don't want you to know the real cost of this war with Iran. They initially claimed it would cost $25-29 billion. But we talked to experts, and the truth it that it could cost 34x that when all is said and done — nearly $1 trillion.

BREAKING: The House just voted 216-212 to pass a national defense authorization act that takes a huge step towards meshing the U.S. and Israeli militaries. This legislation would massively expand U.S.-Israel defense technology cooperation and integration. One portion of the bill, the United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative, would give Israel access to U.S. military and intelligence systems’ technology, information, and supply chain, while giving the U.S. very little in return.

Hawai’i just passed a bill that undermine Citizens United. The bill establishes corporations as “artificial persons” without the right to spend money on elections. The bill could limit the influence of super PACs and be a model to challenge the influence of money in politics.
