I'm not an advocate for violence by any stretch, but very little gets said about the unspeakable evils people will commit when they believe they violence against them is impossible.
The toll is not as obviously apparent and it's not as easily traced so people don't think of it.
No amnesty

Your headline should be “We’re sorry. We acted like monsters.” Not “we were in the dark about COVID” and didn’t know any better.
