When people hear you're an author, do they ask you how they can get published? Here's a graphic I created to help others while protecting my own time. Feel free to share!

I was talking to my non-writer but very supportive husband about how it is almost as likely to be struck by lightning as it is to be published, and he said
“If you just keep running into every storm you see, it is bound to happen.”
And I kind of love it.

Many commentators say that vigilante groups are never the answer. But they clearly don't know about the masked Ecuadorian trio named “Acción Ortográfica Quito,” who roam the streets at night with one purpose: to correct all the spelling and grammar mistakes they find in graffiti.

I just think some writers treat writing and art as something precious. I recommend watching sports documentaries and cooking documentaries. Learn about the habits of people who are amazing at what they do. It usually isn’t genius or freakish ability. It’s usually just profound
