Player Development. It’s not just practice.
Marty Smith@GoCFBaseball10 Sep 2021
1/ Thread...A few thoughts on Player Development and what we have done at College of Central Florida. The term "Player Development" is sometimes taken for granted and just shrugged off as "coach speak" without the meaning of what exactly you are doing when it comes to PD...

It’s been a pleasure to have a front row seat to see Balint’s skyrocketing maturity both on and off the field. A joy to coach and a great teammate.

I built Magna with @mase2314 who I met as a result of playing with @GoCFBaseball in 2020! It's a detailed holistic approach to player development. Excited to share more on this platform.

🚨Uncommitted RS-Sophomore🚨: @NickAdrian227 Some clips from our scrimmage yesterday against FSC-Jacksonville. Nick has made some great adjustments since he joined us in the spring last year, and we count on him being a big piece for us this year. @GoCFBaseball @daultonhorton10

There were 286 Nobel Peace Prize candidates who didn’t win yesterday. Only one of them is acting like a pedantic child about it today. Think about that and how pathetic that is.

Man, I've been #GoCubsGo for a long time, but when our former #Pat pitching coach (Zach Bove) is doing incredible things with the White Sox young pitching staff (after three 100 loss seasons)...I gotta pull for the Southsiders for a little bit. Wow are they fun to watch!
