Sanara Usanii Day is here!
Today, we gather to reflect, learn, and celebrate the work of Kenya’s creative community through the Sanara Program that’s been building pathways for young people in the creative and cultural fields.
Sanara is a collaboration supporting young women and men across Kenya to access practical training and meaningful work in the creative and cultural industries.
Baraza Media Lab leads the Skilling for Work arm of Sanara. Through 21 partner hubs, we help creatives gain skills and collaborate in spaces that encourage experimentation and belonging.
GoDown Arts Centre retweeted
Together with the skilling partners, Sanara participants, and the Sanara Consortium, we honor the work that has brought us here and the creativity spirit that drives the program.
We’ve come far, and the journey continues!
