My colleague dated his fiancƩe for three years and helped her open and stock a salon shop, believing they were building a future together.
Whenever he mentioned marriage, she would say she's not ready yet. Unknown to him, she had another man in mind. She's just using him to buy time.
Before he knew what was happening, she accepted the other man's proposal and got married. He was heartbroken but chose to move on without disturbing her marriage.
Two months later, he met another woman, fell in love, completed his marriage rites, and started his own family.
But something strange happened.

He Divorced His Wife Because She Couldn't Have Children
After seven years of marriage, he divorced his wife for being childless. Six months later, the truth about his infertility destroyed his new marriage.
For seven years, Esther endured hospital visits, painful treatments, and cruel comments from her husband's family.
Her husband, Richard, blamed her for their inability to have a child.
āMy mother was right,ā he told her one evening. āYou will never give me an heir.ā
Despite Esther's pleas that they seek medical advice together, Richard refused. He eventually filed for divorce and married a younger woman named Vanessa.

China šØš³ and Nigeria š³š¬ operate at different economic scales, but their states and provinces share striking parallels.
Both nations rely on distinct regional engines that drive their cultural, industrial, and economic identity:
1. Lagos vs Guangdong: The commercial nerve centers. Lagos is West Africaās financial and tech capital; Guangdong (home to Guangzhou and Shenzhen) is Chinaās wealthiest manufacturing powerhouse.
2. Anambra vs Zhejiang: The cradles of grassroots entrepreneurship. Anambra runs on private enterprise and the Igbo apprenticeship system; Zhejiang (home to Yiwu and Hangzhou) is world-famous for its private factories and global wholesale hubs.
3. Kano vs Shandong: The northern heavyweights. Kano is the historic trade nerve center of Northern Nigeria; Shandong is a populous powerhouse of agriculture, industry, and cultural heritage.
4. Benue vs Henan: The national food baskets. Benue feeds Nigeria along the Benue River; Henan sits in the fertile Yellow River valley, serving as China's historic agricultural backbone.
5. Rivers vs Heilongjiang: The resource anchors. Rivers State powers Nigeria via oil and gas; Heilongjiang is home to Daqing, Chinaās historic petroleum hub.
6. Abuja vs Beijing: The administrative command centers built to steer national policy away from commercial chaos.
Which pairing surprised you the most, and what state or province would you add to #7?

Good morning friends. Letās pray together.
Dear Lord, we may not been there when you promised in Genesis 12:2, "I'll make you a great nation and bless you. I'll make you famous, you'll be a blessing. I'll bless those who bless you, those who curse, I'll curseā but because we here now, may we be a partaker of this promise. May we not keep clapping while others keep testifying! Let us testify too. Amen š

My younger brother has been dating a lady for two years, and he intended to marry her. However, thereās one major problem: sheās extremely jealous and obsessive.
I understand that love can make you a little possessive, but thereās a difference between love and dangerous obsession.
Let me explain.
My brother is now fed up and has told me he wants out of the relationship. He says he can no longer tolerate her jealousy and obsessive behaviour.
But hereās where things get worrying.
The lady somehow got my number and called me to complain that my brother had changed and no longer gave her attention. She even went as far as saying she couldnāt be dumped!
Imagine that level of entitlement!
From the way she sounded on the phone, she came across as extremely aggressive, and some of her statements felt threatening. Honestly, Iām beginning to fear for my brotherās safety.
Personally, I wouldnāt want a woman like this for my brother as a wife, and I want to encourage him to end the relationship completely.
Marriage is a serious commitment, and excessive jealousy, controlling behaviour, and threats are major red flags that shouldnāt be ignored.
But Iām also concerned about how she might react when he finally ends things.
Guys, what advice can I give my brother? How should he handle this situation safely, especially now that she seems unwilling to accept a breakup?
Iād appreciate your honest opinions and advice.
BUTTERBEAN KNOCKS ED WHITE CLEAN THROUGH THE ROPES IN LAS VEGAS
On April 12, 1997, Eric Butterbean Esch faced towering Ed White for the IBA super heavyweight title.
White used his seven-inch height advantage and long jab to control the early exchanges and keep Butterbean at bay.
The opening round stayed competitive as Ed White landed clean shots while Butterbean pressed forward undeterred.
In the second round Butterbean found his range with heavy overhand rights and looping hooks that staggered White.
A big right hand dropped Ed White early, and he rose with a look of resignation in his eyes.
Butterbean followed with a left-right combination that sent White tumbling through the ropes and out of the ring.
Referee Joe Cortez waved off the fight at 1:14, awarding Butterbean the TKO and retaining his title.

This girl in my neighbourhood has been acting all lovey-dovey towards me. I told her Iām married, but she said it wasnāt a problem and that she could be an understanding side chick.
I thought she was just being friendly, but my wife quickly noticed her attitude and told me, āNa you she wants. She wants you"
My wife simply warned me to be careful around her.
Now, the same girl says she wants to paint her apartment and has asked me to come and inspect it so I can give her a quotation.
As a married man and a professional painter, Iām in a dilemma. I donāt want to lose a potential client, but I also donāt want to invite unnecessary trouble into my marriage.
If you were in my shoes, would you go there to inspect the apartment, or would you turn down the job completely?
I want to hear your honest opinions. š

My husband is an OB-GYN, and yesterday he sat in the car for ten minutes before coming inside.
I watched him from the kitchen window. He just stared at the steering wheel.
When he finally walked in, he didnāt say a word. He dropped his bag and went straight to the shower. I knew that face, so I let him be. ļæ¼
