"The second amendment does not give you an unconditional right to own a weapon."
Correct.
My weapon gives me an unconditional right to own a weapon.
Ah yes, CA gun laws at work

My own view: There should be no border search exception allowing the search of a citizen's devices without a warrant, as I argued in my book. You can read the chapter at this link.

If true, and especially if this is becoming routine, very troubling. Curious what lawyers/law profs would do in this situation. SCOTUS has never weighed in on this practice.
Thoughts, @OrinKerr, others?

I've said it several times on this hellsite: if some enterprising auto manufacturer brought back bench seat squarebodies that could be reliably made and sold for under $25K they wouldn't even need dealerships. People would fly *to* the factories and drive the trucks home from the assembly purchase. Any distance. Even extended cross-country.

Code that is functional can be transmitted via all sorts of artistic and expressive mediums.

I just received this email.
I will say it again, @TheAKGuy is not a Nazi. I’ve known him personally for 9 years and I will stand by him. Yes, I don’t agree with everything he says, but that’s normal.
To all the Jews out there who think Brandon is some sort of the Second Coming of Hitler, you are sorely mistaken.

"But what about the next dem administration"
MBIC when we get to that point, the rules are made up and the points don't matter.
Why is Brett still employed?
As I reported earlier this week, multiple Trump admin sources tell me Brett Shumate, who runs the DOJ civil division, is the DOJ official behind efforts to appeal the suppressor/NFA decision and force continued registration of suppressors.
This statement suggests Shumate is still actively trying to knife Gun Owners of America, Palmetto State Armory, Silencer Shop, and the 2nd Amendment.
You need to be looking into your individual states laws and hounding your state legislature to remove any additional NFA laws they’ve implemented.
There’s gonna be a lot of really annoyed and shocked red state residents if this trend continues and nothing is done on a state level.
🚨BREAKING🚨
It's official! @SilencerShop completed the first lawful, unregistered suppressor transfer since June 26th, 1934.
@TheAKGuy's purchase was approved & @WesVirdellTX skipped the background check with his concealed carry permit. This is One Big Beautiful Victory. 🇺🇸🔫
He's not wrong. Last year SB 499 and HB 1324 were submitted to amend Art 4, Ch 11, of Title 16 of the OCGA to repeal the prohibition on possessing a silencer in GA. We had success in the Senate but it died in the house. BOLO for the 2027 session. We'll need everyone's help in contacting their legislators to get these bills to pass. This is where membership matters.
Unfortunately this puts GA residents in a bind due to state law. We tried to get the legislature to remove this one from the books this past session but we were betrayed

This mentality is why the gun community has made such little progress compared to the legalization efforts for marijuana.
Why? Like it or not those guys had balls.
They were growing illegally before it was legal.
When it became "medically legal", they grew more than they were allowed to grow and sold to people who didn't have a medical license.
Now that it's legal, they're fighting tooth and nail to repeal the sin tax most states put into place.
They made it so abundantly clear it wasn't possible to regulate it any longer that in short order most states were essentially forced into legalization because it became an unsolvable problem.
This is what 3D printing has done for guns, to a degree, but now we have the opportunity to blow the NFA out of the fucking water and you still have people saying "wait and see, don't do anything yet guys we haven't heard from daddy government yet to clarify every nook and cranny of the ruling".
If the ruling remains there should be half a million NFA transfers tomorrow. Everyone taking off the pistol braces and throw on a Magpul MOE. Stocks on handguns.
What will they do then?
Do not give them even a moment to breathe.
IMPORTANT 2A UPDATE: I am EXTREMELY concerned about the cavalier attitude and in my opinion reckless advice and coverage of the NFA ruling. There are MANY layers to this and subsequent criteria that WILL NOT lead to the promised outcomes that we are seeing across social media. Take this however you'd like to, but I advise EXTREME CAUTION before you act or act on the advice of what you're seeing on social media. There are grave consequences and a LOT of grey area with VERY REAL CONSEQUENCES in which to get caught. I care deeply for this community and I do not want unintended consequences to befall a righteous cause nor those who fight on its behalf. @GunWashington @NRA @GunOwners @gunrights @2AFDN @AAGDhillon @fourboxesdiner @ArmedAttorneys @AttyTomGrieve
