**EVENT CANCELLED SUN 9th FEB**
We are pretty hardcore at Burrs but for the safety & welfare of both the runners & volunteer marshals we are going to cancel our organised run today.
If you wish to run yourself you do so at your own risk.
Stay safe out there today #StormCiara

Thanks to all of our #volunteers, not just today but every single week, who make the event possible! @GreatRunLocal

Unfortunately the weather is not on our side today! The 2k finish line is completely frozen solid and is just too dangerous to run on. The small loop also has some areas where ice stretches across the whole path. We therefore have to take the decision to cancel. Stay safe today.

The run will not be going ahead this morning due to the icy conditions. Apologies for any disappointment. Hopefully we will be back on next week #GRL #GRLBoggart

A big thank you to all the marshalls, volunteers & runners at the @GreatRunLocal at #wythenshawepark for supporting Sophie to run her second 2k this morning. We are really grateful to have this initiative & so many @parkrunUK options locally.
