Hi Kate
When can we now discuss the reopen grants of up to £18k for #scottishhospitality as announced by @RishiSunak at the #ukbudget of which we will receive barnett from? Without this #hospitality will not be able to afford to reopen. #SHG

Her advisors have not told her that a 30,000sf Health Club with the best air circulation in existsnce & temp testing with a mandatory mask policy is less safe than a pub, bingo hall or bowling alley. Show me the evidence that I am wrong

Targeted support is urgently required. We are one of the only sectors with no specific funding, and one of the last to open!

Earlier opening at this point goes a small way. Sector specific funding is urgently needed, or there won’t be a sector to reopen.

So individuals can now travel to Spain and back without quarantine despite the recent surge in new infections there. BUT Scottish gyms can’t open with the same guidelines as gyms in England @NicolaSturgeon All you can say is be patient 🤷♂️. Just not good enough #scottishgyms – at Hawick, Scotland

Just want to say a big thanks to the staff at Borders General Hospital @NHSBorders who are looking after my pal’s dad brilliantly right now. And indeed thanks to all our @NHSuk staff. This daft idiot is immensely grateful. 🏩👍

This is very disappointing news.
This effectively cuts the eligibility from 4.6 million households to under 1 million.
The BBC should look again at how it supports older people.

Very true @DerekMackaySNP it’s a complete disgrace. But then again at the other end of the scale the you show the same level of incompetence by allowing small businesses be hit with huge rates hikes , but the only official party line is the system is fair 🤔

Thank you to all of you for your kind messages over the last couple of days. They’re very much appreciated. @GlasgowWarriors fans first class, as always.
Really excited for our next chapter as a family in joining a brilliant club in @ExeterChiefs from next season.

Rising fuel prices are causing increasing concern in many parts of the #ScottishBorders
When we are so dependent on cars to get around, it is just not fair that we have to pay more than urban areas.
