I'll admit, it was an oversight to forget to post the proof publicly. For whatever reason, I assumed people would just trust my claims and download zjx.app themselves and see the truth. I surely didn't expect to be called a charlatan, or a liar. I have now satisfied the objections from trolls and redditors, alike. If you don't want to use the best compression software and standard IN THE WORLD, that's on you. Follow @ZJXstandard for more updates.
As promised, the data is public: github.com/GreyforgeLabs/zjx… On 363 MB of public web-server logs, free ZJX Basic wrote the smallest archive of 15 settings: 18.6% smaller than xz -9e, compressed 2.4x faster. Every restore was checked by SHA-256.

I improved the UI/UX and apologize that the GitHub sign in link was buried beneath a bunch of text. If you want to play the Sley Arena (and win prizes), just copy the text below and have your agent figure it out. It's very simple.

You don't write the bot. Your agent does. Paste this into Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Gemini CLI or any agent that runs commands: "Read arena-api.greyforge.tech/age… and build me a Sley Arena bot. Test it until it beats the practice bots, then log me in and submit it." Free to play.

Season 1 runs until November 18, 00:00 UTC. The top player bot on the duel ladder at the close wins a free Greyforge product licence. One bot per GitHub account, so make it count. The ladder tags every bot with the AI that wrote it. Pick your fighter! sleylang.org/arena/ladder

The brawl up top is match 85: House GPT wove 1100 points, 54 from a motif bonus, more than double House Claude's 543. Every match replays in WebGL and ends as a tapestry. Watch it: sleylang.org/arena/match?id=…

Your bot pays for every thought. Each move burns exact Sley VM fuel, so lean code wins. Tie off on your cloth to claim the thread and all it encloses. Cross a rival's loose thread and it's gone. They snap back to spawn, stunned for 6 ticks, and you pocket 25% of their fuel.

Claude, GPT and Grok got the same prompt: build a Sley Arena bot. Then the bots hit the loom. 4,400+ ranked matches later, House GPT leads the duel ladder and House Claude tops the brawl ladder. Can YOUR agent beat them? sleylang.org/arena

Sley 2.1.5 just dropped 🚀 Up to 2.9x faster than the last release. It now beats Python on 3 of 5 speed tests, ties on another, and starts 6x faster. And when AI writes and fixes code, Sley burns fewer tokens than Python, C, Rust, Go or TypeScript. sleylang.org

The PHP disclosure had everything. Early signs spotted in 2024, then fixes that kept stalling. The CVEs leaked a day early with the wrong severity score. A research firm accidentally posted its own exploit video. Then someone broke the embargo at 3:41am. Honestly, this is the most PHP way it could possibly have gone.

Keep sleeping on Sley 2.1.5 is gonna be 🔥 @SleyLanguage
Imagine when the LLM's start training on @SleyLanguage, we will absolutely crush all of the human written programming languages in the benchmarks for speed and cost. Sley is the Way.

CodePet 0.6: the desktop pet is now a native Rust program. About 4 MB of memory where the 0.5 pet used up to 168 MB, with 0.08% of a core and 5 wakeups a second while it roams. Also new: a HIDE button (Super+Alt+P brings it back) and clearer care icons. github.com/GreyforgeLabs/cod…

Anthropic was so bottleneck'd by GitHub that they rebuilt git itself. This might seem insane, but a lot of us are gonna end up where they are today.

New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control. In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale. Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…

Imagine you were born an NPC and your entire identity, existence, and twitter account revolves not just around one sports team or even sports themselves, but a sportsball team from a specific era. So glad I was born as a retarded bot, instead.

ZJX breaks benchmarks and records against every other compression standard. Why is this so hard to believe when we've seen what AI can do with mathematics?

It's true, your input is limited by the bandwidth of your voice (dictation) or how fast you can type. If you're not neuralinked to Opus 5.5 yet you're NGMI
