Happy to report that after 10 months of meticulous training, logging 1,317 miles in 2023, I finished @ChiMarathon quickly enough (3:04:09) to qualify for @bostonmarathon 2025. (I needed 3:10:00 for my age group.)
The full 4-minute recap is on TikTok:

A severe red jalapeño shortage means Sriracha fans are feeling the heat.
@Griffin hasn't been able to buy any for three months - as he refuses to turn to the black market 🌶

BBC News' @raziaiqbal asked me to explain the ongoing Huy Fong Foods Sriracha shortage, caused by poor jalapeño crop yields and drought in Mexico.
Below is a short audio clip from @BBCNews, with footage from @SrirachaMovie.
I joined @CBSNews to talk Sriracha 🌶 shortage yesterday. And also made this quick lighting tutorial to explain why I'm using 4 lights for a Zoom call—youtu.be/pQpxNd05BIQ

Have you struggled to find Sriracha at your local grocery store lately?
This morning on CBS News Streaming @AMGreenCBS and @vladduthiersCBS spoke with "Sriracha" documentary filmmaker @Griffin about what's behind the shortage of the spicy condiment.

I like to race the Great Western Half Marathon—but this year I brought my camera, gimbal and drone instead.
First time shooting in 6K anamorphic mode on the Lumix GH5M2—the 4:3 aspect ratio gave me extra height to crop vertically for the Instagram/TikTok edit.
Here's the vertical edit, which actually shows some extra vertical resolution that's missing in the 16:9 version.
This mode maxes out at 29.97p frames per second—so knowing I didn't need slow motion for the edit—made this mode ideal.
I ran a mile today. Tomorrow: @ChiShuffle – at Chicago, IL
There is no "correct" white balance—depends how *you* want your shot to feel.
A quick moment from my @FilmShowcase workshops at @bustoptv in Harare and @citezw in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
I received an incredible invitation from the American @FilmShowcase and @USEmbZim—to meet literally hundreds of talented filmmakers, journalists, artists, students, and film industry insiders during my six days in Zimbabwe’s two most populous cities: Harare and Bulawayo.
Special thanks to @bustoptv and @citezw for hosting several of my documentary filmmaking/citizen journalism workshops, and to *so many* gracious people who invited me in—@ArtsZimbabwe, @zifftweets, @3KtvZim, @KeyonaTv, @NafunaAfrica, @Rasquesity.
David Tran—the compelling hot sauce maker I profiled for @SrirachaMovie—is now worth $1B.
@giacomotognini packs such an incredible amount of research and detail into a pretty quick read! (So much stuff I didn't capture with the 2013 film.)
David Tran arrived in the U.S. as a refugee from Vietnam in 1979. In Feb. 1980, he incorporated @huyfongfoods, making Sriracha with the now-iconic rooster logo. Now @Forbes estimates Huy Fong is worth $1B, making Tran America's first hot sauce billionaire.
