PISTONS, part 2 A few weeks ago, I accidentally deleted a prediction video featuring Cathy and Steve Piston and I was determined to try it again. And we got a bonus with their son Adam participating. So we have plenty of Parkland-Whitehall flavor in our video with the Zephs and Trojans meeting Friday night.

TROJANS TRIUMPHS The @ParklandAthlet1 girls tennis 🎾 team is going for District 11 team gold today. From last week here is coach Candace Young and doubles champs Sadie Pollard and Sonia Lee.

HOW SWEEP IT IS … @Becahi_Hawks finishes off a 3-0 semifinal win over @ACCHSVikings and will play Parkland for the EPC championship Thursday night at 7 back at @KonkreteKids

BECAHI IN CONTROL @Becahi_Hawks girls volleyball is up 2 sets to none in the other EPC semifinal. They are the No. 1 seed and have the league’s co-MVPs in Jocelyn Bell & Piper Ruggiero

It has been an uphill climb all day so far for the No. 4 ranked Mountain Hawks.

An amazing play but Lehigh is down 31-17 late in the first half.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL 🏈 PICKS We went to @ND_Crusaders for our annual video with ND legend Sal Rizzo. Sal says there is a big game there on Friday night.

COACHES CORNER @SJPrep_Football coach Tim Roken and @LaSalleFball coach Brett Gordon talk after Saturday’s game —- won by the Prep 13-3 —- at @GoLeopards.

SUSAN BARTLES The CEO of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley was our special guest this morning on Calling All Sports on @LVFoxSports. She has got a great Sports Buddies program that connects adults and youth at athletic events.

SAINT BERNARD He may not be ready for sainthood quote yet, but @BecahiFootball coach Joe Bernard, in his second year back in Bethlehem, has the Golden Hawks playing at a high level.

ST. JOE’S PREP 13, LA SALLE 3 @SJPrep_Football gets a measure of revenge for 2 losses to @LaSalleFball last year. One of our teams — Parkland, Nazareth, Whitehall, Northampton? —will likely see the Prep in about 7 weeks.

IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED You might get to try again. Colin Stoner got a second field goal try and made it to stretch the @SJPrep_Football lead to 13-3 with 11:03 left in regulation.

NO GOOD @LaSalleFball had a chance to cut into the @SJPrep_Footballl lead but missed a field goal. Still 10-3 Hawks with 4 minutes left in the half.

10-3 PREP A 33-yard field goal by Jackson Laufer gets @LaSalleFball on the board. @SJPrep_Football still leads 10-3 with 10:03 left in the half.

PREP 3-0 In a battle of Philly Catholic League powers at @GoLeopards, @SJPrep_Football has taken a 3-0 lead over @LaSalleFball on a 24yard field goal by Colin Stoner.

AIR BURKART @axel_bkrt1 had one of the best passing nights I have seen in awhile last night, 414 yards and 5 TDs. He also ran for a score. New Hampshire is getting a good one.

A GREAT INTERVIEW My first conversation with @Becahi_Football sophomore @7routezz_ (Great Chifirst) who was force on defense for @Becahi_Football last night in the 49-17 win over Freedom.

If this was the NFL with all kinds of extra camera angles and zoom techniques, this probably would have been overturned. I am glad I didn’t have to make this call.

DAN KENDRA The longtime coach has worked with a bunch of great @Becahi_Football quarterbacks going back to the 1980s with Bob Stem. He thinks highly of current QB @axel_bkrt1
