TRUMP CANCELS PUBLIC APPEARANCES AFTER GOP MIDTERM DEFEAT
President Trump has no public events scheduled Wednesday, following sweeping Republican losses in the midterm elections.
His White House schedule includes only closed-door policy meetings.
In a Wall Street Journal interview, Trump acknowledged that the Iran war contributed to Republican defeats, but insisted he does not regret launching the conflict.

Fact:
HM Treasury economists view OG citizens' assets as "illiquid growth".
High tax liquidates us.
...And importing indolent scroungers allows the Welfare State to be turned against us and pump consumer activity.
All wrapped in a bow of virtue.
Oddly the far left and far right are both aligned on blaming Iran [Israel] rather than Donald taking bungs from foreign powers.
Can't imagine why.

This is why antisemism is a priority. Because they canβt/ wonβt tackle the bin strikes, budget overspends, housing crisis: but they can unite people by attacking the Jew among nations.
In Birmingham we have ongoing bin strikes, mountains of rubbish, budget overspends, a housing crisis, and families with children in temporary accommodation.
The priority for some councillors? Boycott Israel.

Everywhere the slopulist right is taking a drubbing. These people have nothing to offer young people, no vision, no economic promises beyond protecting boomer pensions and property prices. The only pitch to anyone else has been fear of the left and mass-immigration and it's failed to hold back either.
One of the only exceptions to this trend is the AfD, who responded to the Iran War and Greenland nonsense by reasserting German sovereignty, while Farage was begging his government to let America use British bases for the Purim war.
The right can't win with these people in charge. It needs to do what the left did in the 1960s and be taken over by young radicals who totally rebuild intellectually. Will we find the human capital to do that? For years the right has selected for vapid, fame hungry influencers and mindless shills, and the average right winger's brain has been so fried by conspiratorialism they can hardly think.
It will be tough, but regardless of what comes next, the vision of the establishment right has already lost.

Alex Burghart presses further for the Tories- can Labour commit to reducing welfare under Andy Burnham's 10-year-plan, which will run from 2027-2037?

They are going to protect Burnham from accountability and keep him on podcasts or tame media (eg. ITN interviewing him in a football stadium- "chips and gravy" semiotics there).
Burnham betrayed his Makerfield promises, so Labour's running a "basement dummy strategy.

The coverage from the Commonwealth summit is relentlessly negatively about whether the UK should apologise for historic slavery.
No wonder Kemi Badenoch is questioning whether the UK should bother attending next time.
Where is the reporting about what else is happening at the summit, or other political stories generated from speaking to the PM and his team?
In my view the fault lies at least in part with Number 10, for (unusually) not taking a political press pack to the Caribbean.

This is nuts. It was already a terrible deal for the UK.
To save a projected Β£250m a year we added Β£2bn+ a year to our carbon costs and gave the EU control over what carbon tax applies to.
Now we are going to pay them for the pleasure too?
This is economic suicide.
Britain has agreed to pay into European Union development schemes as the price for rejoining the blocβs electricity market, according to a draft text seen by The Telegraph.
Taxpayer money will be funnelled into projects to build roads, airports and green energy facilities across the blocβs poorer member states under the plan.
In exchange, British energy companies will be allowed to trade freely in the EUβs single market for electricity.

Andy Burnham would rather hand over Β£450mil every year to cut university fees for EU students, than reverse Labourβs freeze of repayment thresholds for Plan 2 student loans.
Politics is about choices. It seems that foreign students are more important to Labour than English students.
