Reporters in Tel Aviv say Iranian mass attack is over for now. Limited damage done. But only thanks to Israeli air defence systems. Iranian attempt to overwhelm it with over 200 drones/missiles failed. If it had succeeded there would have been carnage in Israel tonight. Advance US intel on Iranian attack clearly hugely valuable to Israel. Attacks came out of Iran plus Tehran proxies in Syria and Yemen.

Almost the only water in the Rhee is coming out of the Cat Ditch via an augumentation borehole at Slip End operated by Affinity Water, to the detriment of the Ivel Catchment. It is operating under a 1960's abstraction license that was way to generous.

Hi Sean - we are working with others to gather data on the future water requirement for peat landscapes - interesting work in progress - we won’t have a full picture in time for the first draft plan though. This is due out for consultation on 17th January 2022
