#bitcoin on #sha256 is a captured currency: - rules dictated by a centrally controlled mining cartel that bought off the core devs, and ignored the nodes (the users). - pushed a unilateral blow open of op return, allowing for increased data storage (#spam) on chain. The miners enforced this change in unison, despite user objection and 20%+ node signaling user activated soft fork. ( The other 80% did not institute a URSF, signaling either complacency, fake spun up nodes, and/or a foreknowledge the 'fix was already in'. - it has the ecosystem for now because most of the user base did not understand or pay attention to the bait and switch that occurred. - Now they are inplanting all kinds of antithetic material on chain including CP, CSAM, USD stablecoin, and god-knows what else. - blockhain bloat, another indirect (or perhaps intentional) consequence, makes it prohibitive for users from participating and syncing nodes. This leads to even further centralization and consolidation of power. #bitxoin soul survives (and is thriving) however on #xbt on #blake2b. The nodes govern the rules, 1 node = 1 vote. They fired the #sha256 mining cartel. They fixed op return permanently so #spam is significantly inhibited. They are building a mining participation system to prevent infiltration like what happened on the #sha256 #spamchain. The primary purpose of #xbt on blake2b is being monetary, and it is the hardest and purest money on earth. Once you understand all this, the choice is clear for those in it for the values and promise of #bitcoin. Those only focused on #ngu , alterior motives, herd thinking, and casino mentality will stay on the sha256 #spamchain. The irony is in due coarse, their chain will falter while the pure chain will rise dramatically.

Lugano is CBDC conference. There is no Satoshi spirit in Spamcoin. Bitcoin ethos lives in XBT.
I came to @LuganoPlanB every year since it started. But this year will mark my last visit. Here ls why! Maybe if I had to summarize in one word, it would be "Conformity" (and lack of novelty). I came to #bitcoin 6 years ago, as for me it was the best way to express a vote against the system. For me Bitcoin was first a rebellion, before being a life raft and ultimately a freedom rocket. And the yearly pilgrimage to #luganoplanb was a way to connect with fellow bitcoiners and learn new stuff, as well as check the "pulse" of the community. This year at Plan B, I am feeling that bitcoin has become more and more "corporate" and "conforms" to rules that don't fit my ethos. Not saying it is a bad thing (it probably is in fact a good thing for the fiat dollars price of BTC, if tt is your denominator!). There is as much AI (if not more!) than Bitcoin related speeches, and Ferraris are displayed at the main entrance, instead of a giant middle finger to the system statue, as it should! This is a great symbol I think. Also and very important to me, there is no social gathering initiatives, and the atmosphere being more "corporate", it feels increasingly difficult to connect to other bitcoiners. I also lack the attendance of "bitcoin rockstars", even if they might not add much, they tend to drag some action and a bit of rock'n'roll attitude (@jackmallers or @maxkeiser were definitely good at that!). The only rockstar is the one playing in his own garden... @paoloardoino made a speech that frankly made me scared... but I leave tt to another post! But for sure PlanB Lugano is @tether ´s owned conference and that is very obvious everywhere you look... but in a "decentralized" philosophy like bitcoin, I might question it. Ok that's it. I just wanted to share my 2 cents, and I am totally aware that the above points really depends on everyone's journey along the path of BTC Avenue. Thank you Lugano Plan B for the great times over the years. So long and take care of this really amazing statue of Satoshi... but please turn him/her around so he/she can see the lake and sun setting when not playing games on the laptop for god sake!!

All while openly advocating for USD as the global medium of exchange, while stacking sats for the deep state at large US custodians. Has your account been hijacked?

Centralized Bitcoin Core is irrelevant. Miners have been fired. There’s no saving the captured. Asymptotic ideal money has moved on. Blake2b
False rewriting of history. Miners were still following the rules their nodes enforced. Only 20% of all nodes on the network enforced BIP110 rules (a minority) and only a few of them were backed by miners. The miners did not refuse BIP110. Consensus did not support it.

Friendly reminder: Centralized mining is the single BIGGEST threat to any network. "Not your keys not your coin" is the second biggest threat. Buy ONLY #XBT
Talking about "self-custody" on a network with mining as centralized as Bitcoin is as a silly as thinking you have sovereignty over the money in your bank account because you're the only person who knows your login password.

Holding #spamcoin at this point is like playing hot potato. #xbt #bitcoin on #blake2b is the path forward.

There have been allegations that NatInfoSec and I are the same person, or that I am the author of some or all of his articles about Blockstream's alleged ponzi scheme. This is a complete and total lie, brought to you by friends of Andy like @JoeNakamoto and @coinjoined. Two minutes of research will demonstrate that NatInfoSec has a long history as a security researcher, who has done good work like exposing fentanyl traffickers, Russian drone makers, etc. Link is in the reply. Why are Joe and Chris not interested in getting to the bottom of the Blockstream allegations, instead of attempting to shoot the messenger? Looks like Joe just dropped Blockstream as a sponsor, so I think there's a good chance that he thinks NatInfoSec's allegations are actually correct, and that Joe is trying to distance himself slowly from Andy. Bitcoiners will remember forever how Joe and Chris behaved this year-- and history will not be kind to their reputations as well

Greed made me fall for a scam and lose more than 100k. Bitcoin taught me to delay gratification and be patient. very hard and expensive Lesson i learned there. i hope you get to learn from my Mistake. never believe someone promising high returns in very short time. Peace.

Spamcoin launched Aug 8th. The former miners left Bitcoin for their airdrop scamcoin. Bitcoin continued on. The BLAKE2b HF wasn't until Aug 30, and there was no split over it.

Spamcoin failed from the moment it launched. 100% of its perceived value is a result of fraud, people tricking others into thinking it's Bitcoin. Yet it has none of the properties of Bitcoin.
