I am proud to share that my Bill C-234, recognizing Living Organ Donors, has passed the Senate unanimously and has completed the legislative process.
It’s time to recognize those who give the gift of life.
Thank you to @DLeBlancNB and @WellsDavid and all parliamentarians.

The PBO projects the Carney gov’t won’t meet its second fiscal anchor of a declining deficit-to-GDP ratio.
The Carney gov’t is blowing through its fiscal anchor - after doubling deficits in its first budget compared to Trudeau’s last budget.

The CRA approved more than $40 million in bogus tax refunds and sent out over $10 million before a bank raised the alarm.
Canadians are expected to get every line of their tax returns right. How did a claim this large get through without proper checks?
The Liberals need to hold the CRA accountable. Tell Canadians how this happened, how much money is still missing, and what will stop it from happening again.

What do Liberals do when they can’t hit their own targets?
Delete the target!
Instead of building 500,000 homes as promised, Mark Carney has decided to stop measuring housing unit counts altogether!
While Carney is all talk, Conservatives are focused on REAL results.

Pray for Wainwright, everyone.
There has been a serious incident that caused a fire at CFB Wainwright. Thank you to the brave firefighters and emergency responders working to save lives.
I have spoken to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence to offer our support to everyone on the base and in the community.
To everyone in the area, please stay safe, follow local emergency instructions, and keep roads clear for first responders.

Not a good look
Just now, David Eby confirms that he has his kids in $10/day taxpayer-subsidized daycare.
Approx. only 10% of BC daycare spots offer $10/day daycare. Most families who want in can't get a spot.
As Premier, Eby earns $227k/year. Eby's wife is a doctor. Their household income is likely well over half a million dollars per year.
We don't resent British Columbians who are successful (we want more people to succeed).
But where there are wait lists, surely a wealthy family like Eby's shouldn't be taking advantage of $10/day daycare. Think about a working single mother? David Eby deserves the spot more than her?

Yes Liberal MPs, you are absolutely correct. Canada is facing a severe shortage of skilled trades workers in the coming couple of years
The part that you left out however, is that the Liberal governments have spent years flooding Canada with unskilled immigrants, neglecting any quotas or vetting for skilled labour. They have also created a significant backlash against immigration, so that even if we wanted to bring skilled labour in, the backlash from the public would be significant

No Canadian should have to go on a waiting list to get food.
Grocery prices keep climbing under Mark Carney’s Liberals. More families are struggling to afford the basics. Food banks can't keep up.
Conservatives will put an end to Liberal inflationary spending, cut taxes, and save Canadians money so families can afford to put food on the table.

Is it true Canadian steel companies are afraid of criticising the industrial carbon tax that punishes the industry for fear that the government will amend or withhold tariff relief supports?
Did the government buy silence from the industry by allowing these companies to design the TRQ policy?

Canada is the world’s fourth-largest oil supplier, yet when global supply is threatened, it is the only G7 nation without a reserve to draw from.
The G7 has agreed to release 100 million barrels over four months. In March, Canada’s contribution to the previous emergency response was a promised 23.6 million barrels of oil, but the following month, Canada produced 5 million fewer barrels. Canadians deserve to know what Canada’s share of this new response will be and where those barrels will come from this time.
Conservatives continue to call for a Strategic Energy and Minerals Reserve, faster project approvals, repeal and reform of anti-development laws, and an end to the federal industrial carbon tax so Canadian energy can strengthen our economy, support our allies, and give Canada more security at home and leverage abroad.

Prime Minister Carney promised nation building projects would be at the heart of his Buy Canadian policy.
Yet LNG Canada’s $33 billion expansion will use Chinese steel for specialized modules.
If Canada doesn’t have the capacity to make these components here at home, we should be asking why.
Canadian projects should create Canadian jobs. The Liberals need to end the federal industrial carbon tax and tackle steel dumping from trade abusers to strengthen Canada’s steel industry.

At the very moment Carney Liberals failed to save Stelco jobs, they allow Beijing to dump steel into one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Canada. Carney is choosing China over our workers. The fact that the steel needed is not made in Canada is another failure of the Carney Liberals to create the environment for steelmaking here at home.
We must build big with Canadian steel by ending the industrial carbon tax, and tackling steel dumping from trade abusers.

Yesterday, Angel and I joined law enforcement members and families who gathered in Victoria for the British Columbia Law Enforcement Memorial, honouring officers who died in the line of duty serving BC communities — held the same day as the National Police and Peace Officers' Memorial in Ottawa.
This year carries particular weight close to home: it marks 10 years since Constable Sarah Beckett of West Shore RCMP was killed in the line of duty on April 5, 2016. Sarah was a mother, a wife, and a dedicated member of her detachment and her community. A decade on, she has not been forgotten.
To every officer who wears the uniform: thank you for your service. To the families of those we have lost: you do not carry that grief alone.
