It's been a while 😔 So here's something worth revisiting, I redesigned an e-commerce onboarding experience to improve activation, not just signups. The goal was simple: "To reduce hesitation after signup." Read here👇 uxauditsbyhashim.framer.webs… #UXDesign #Onboarding #Ecommerce

Today is my last day at @moniepoint. I’ve made the decision to dedicate my time fully to building @pewbeam_ai. I believe deeply in what we’re building and its potential to shape the kind of future I want to live in, and I’m excited to give it my undivided attention. It has been a privilege to contribute to Moniepoint’s mission of providing financial happiness for every African. As a Product Designer on the Cards team, I had the opportunity to contribute to improving the product’s user experience and design, helping make it more intuitive and useful for the people who rely on it. I’m grateful to everyone I had the opportunity to work with. I’ve learned a great deal from the people around me, and I know those lessons will serve me well as I enter this next chapter. Now, it’s time to build 🚀

Entering the Design Week Lagos Student Competition with @Michael_Fola12 just 2 days before the deadline was pure chaos, but we made it to the Top 5 finalists. Facing down stage fright as the first presenter unlocked a new level of character development. 0/10 do not recommend a less than 48-hours crunch ever again ngl.

Harry Kane’s career confirms the idea or philosophical belief behind Hijrah. Sometimes, your next level is on the other side of the place you're afraid to leave.

Onboarding
Subscription screens are a lot more than presenting prices. You're influencing how people perceive value and make purchasing decisions. The subscription page is easily the most important page on any app at all, but it doesn't seem to get enough love in many cases. It's a small interaction, but I think these are the kinds of decisions that make interfaces feel more intentional. When you set a default offer, you are literally making a suggestion on which of the offers you want your Users to go for. Thats what you are doing. Some offers present more value to the User, some other offers present more value for the business. How do you pick your defaults? Just like the design of literally anything else, designing pricing interfaces is mostly a game of moderation and deliberate emphasis where and when needed. Sure, you wanna give your users options so they can have some kinda anchor price to make a choice, you do not want to overload them with options. You you have to show them the list of benefits, but do not let that become a blocker. Users should not have to scroll to find the checkout button. People buy in different ways and not everyone wants to have a logical soliloquy before making a purchase. Some just want to click click click, and making them have to scroll by all means is def going to make you lose quite some sales. The less effort required to move from making a decision to acting on it, the better. One thing I've come to appreciate about pricing interfaces is that presenting options is only half the job. The other half is helping people make a decision.

Only a water bender can do both.
had an argument. and i want your opinion: Jesus walking on water or Moses splitting the red sea which is a bigger miracle?
