Blue wave made Texas look like the Somali flag, and did you know that Somalia is about the size of Texas. Just saying 😂

Stephen Miller made targeting Minnesota’s Somalis his personal mission, a new investigation reveals.
A new investigation by the @washingtonsun reveals how Miller, now President Trump's White House chief of staff, spent the past year pressuring federal agencies to crack down on Minnesota's Somali community.
Read the full story here: washingtonsun.com/whitehouse…
In one recorded call in December 2025, Miller pressed officials nine times in just 10 minutes for evidence of fraud involving Minnesota, immigrants and Somalis.
When an official brought up an active fraud investigation in Virginia, Miller responded: “I hear you, but that's a long way off from Minneapolis.”
The investigation found that Miller's directives reached at least five federal agencies.
Under pressure from Miller, the Treasury Department ordered financial institutions in two Minnesota counties to report all international transactions exceeding $3,000.
Some Treasury officials raised concerns that the sweeping requirement could violate constitutional protections against overly broad searches.
The Washington Sun also reports that Miller maintained a direct line to the official leading the Justice Department's new fraud division. One senior administration official said the official was “basically doing Miller's bidding.”
Even some Trump administration officials questioned Miller's intense focus on Minnesota's Somalis rather than fraud nationwide.
A source close to the White House described his campaign as “like a passion project for him.”
The administration's crackdown brought thousands of federal agents into Minnesota and sparked widespread protests. Federal agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens, Renée Good and Alex Pretti, during Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota.
The White House defended its actions as part of its broader effort to combat fraud.
Now, the man who spent the past year pushing this crackdown has been promoted to one of the most powerful positions in the White House.

Let me be clear: I will never take a penny from AIPAC or Super PACs that don’t put Mississippi and America first.
This Senate seat belongs to the people of Mississippi. That’s who I’ll answer to.

Minneapolis, the tipping point was ya’ll marching on that sub zero day to fight Trump, ICE, and the whole administration. It put the entire country on notice. This blue wave started here!!!!!

One thing I wished people understood better was that the resistance to ICE in MN was not just that one enormous freezing march, though that did absolutely rule.
It was a relentless and 24/7 campaign of both shrewd civil disobedience and mass volunteering

The thing I’ll never forget about @AbdulElSayed is that I met him at the ICE protests at the Whipple building in MN.
It was below 0. No press conference, no big speech. Minnesotans were fighting for our lives. And he stepped away from campaigning to be in solidarity with us.

Congratulations, Abdul El-Sayed.
You turned that inshallah into alhamdulillah.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude knowing that we will now have 8 Muslims serving in Congress.
They told us we couldn't speak up, couldn't challenge the status quo, and couldn't make it this far. But we did.
Alhamdulillah.
