Yeah, being able to finally play Sonic the Fighters on a console was awesome! Gems Collection is really awesome for what it is.

Nice, Sonic Adventure 2 is so good! And SA2 Battle on the GameCube is a great port.

Good answer.

Nice! Yeah the GameCube was absolutely amazing for Sonic collections.

What’s your favorite Sonic game on the Nintendo GameCube?

Super Street Fighter II Mortal Kombat II Killer Instinct Yeah, I liked playing fighting games at the arcade. 😛

Very nice list! We have almost all the same favorites, just in a different order. I definitely knew what your number one was going to be. 😉

These are my Top 10 Sonic the Hedgehog characters! #Sonic #SonicTheHedgehog

Yeah, it’s a pretty cool skin! I got it from GameStop way back in the day, I believe in 2006 right after Sonic Riders came out.

In Sonic Heroes, I always thought that the Eggman statue turning into Neo Metal Sonic when everything gets flipped upside down in Hang Castle was a nice touch. Not the deepest foreshadowing ever or anything, but still pretty cool.

Nice! I had the first THPS on Dreamcast as well.

I still find it really interesting that, according to the official Nintendo Player’s Guide, the blue-colored Bowser in Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan) is actually Bowser’s twin brother. I wonder what his name is. I’d like to think it’s Howser, or Towser, or maybe Yowser.

Yeah, it really is that bad.

Who else is a fan of the Tony Hawk games? Which one’s your favorite? I got THPS3 with my GameCube on launch day, and had such a great time with it. It’s awesome. Hot take, but I actually ended up liking THPS3 a lot more than the other GC launch game I bought, Luigi’s Mansion.

Yeah, I’ve definitely never played it without the sound card. I would have gotten sick of that so quickly. 😆

Chaos Angel is such a badass level in Sonic Advance 3.

The revisionism of Sonic online lately has been so weird. Yeah, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but I’ve seen so many trying to push that Mania, SA2, and even the classics are bad and Sonic 2006 is actually a masterpiece because of “ambition” or “potential” or whatever.

My favorite characters kind of changed a lot as a kid. I remember it was Ken for a while, then for a bit it was E. Honda because I kept spamming the hundred hand slap and cheesing my friends with it. 😆 In the end though, my main became Cammy.

Super Street Fighter II is such an unbelievably special game to me. I played the console ports of this with friends for so many countless hours, and this (and the other versions of Street Fighter II) was always the game I played the most at the arcades.
