ATIKU ABUBAKAR: BEYOND POLITICS — A SERIES ON LEADERSHIP, GOVERNANCE, BUSINESS AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
How much do Nigerians really know about Atiku Abubakar beyond his presidential ambitions and political affiliations?
What did he contribute to governance as Vice President of Nigeria between 1999 and 2007? What role did he play in the economic reforms of that period? How did he build his private business interests? And what has his investment in education and youth development contributed to the lives of Nigerians?
In this series, we will examine Atiku Abubakar’s journey from public service to business, his role in the Obasanjo administration, his entrepreneurial endeavours, his investment in education through the American University of Nigeria, and his broader vision for Nigeria’s development.
We will also examine the controversies, criticisms and unanswered questions surrounding his career.
My objective is simple: to move beyond political slogans, explore the available evidence, and encourage an informed conversation about Wazirin’s footprints in leadership, enterprise, education and national development.
This is now a NATIONAL SECURITY issue, Peter Obi myst. E made to take responsibility for the social terrorist and deviants he has released into our polity!
Just imagine that the bigotry and hate speeches on this app is coordinated against people who no longer support the Agulu packaged fraud!
Peter at this point is a threat to our country.
When we say the cult is fully endorsed by their leaders and they are complicit in this online terrorism, some of you think it may not be so; you think it is too extreme to believe.
Here is their Oga's most significant associate following a bot handle that was just set up this month and tweets wild things and threatens people. The handle just started tweeting 3 days ago and he already follows it.

ATIKU paid a terrible price by choosing the dimwit and pretentious snake in 2019, he elevated the mistake to national politics.
I learnt to be careful who I give an opportunity from this experience, especially that notable SE leaders fought against his selection, but AA stood strong for that slimy creature.

The only lesson he should have learned was not to get into a political alliance with this. Everyone who has done so publicly has paid a terrible price. Atiku being the first victim before you trickle down to us younglings. 🌚

Who did that young man CATEGORIZE as mob Gozi, his own party men and women trying to garner everything in favor of AA and the ADC, especially optics!
We have a lot of introspection to do as young people, there is a clear demonstration of a lack of environmental awareness here, you can’t say you’re rage baiting your own camp!
Most of this people advocate online as their only means of doing so, everyone matters in a movement!
Tell your friend Jack he needs therapy! Dude is misbehaving badly my brother.

This is chidish! Support your friend but this is very low!
Exactly the reason why this old brigade will never take us seriously as young people.
Young people should have sense too, you won’t die if you have emotional intelligence while being youthful.
I trust @atiku not to get these categories of persons anywhere near power without training, he was going to train Peter too, because there’s a vacuum in leadership finesse in this dispensation.
Disgusting!
Some dey online dey drag @Jack_ng01 bitterly while my guy dey go about him assignment on a PJ.
This life no balance sha 😂

Small minds. The fact that nothing tells you that you can’t make a post like this at a time when many Nigerians are calling out APC folks for displaying opulence and a shallow luxury lifestyle on collective patrimony while people are groaning shows the level of depravity. Christ !
The fact that you didn’t see that it makes you the same is the real tragedy here. I’ve never seen this kind of tone-deafness before. Lmao.
All that matters to these ones as well is flying private jets. The shallowness of it all. You just prove the point of people who think some of the people manning things here are politically dull, and even lacking the mental agility or the emotional intelligence to understand anything.
The dude was rightly called out. He lacks the cojones for this moment. Fact is fact. I don’t care about any of your feelings. I’m too clear headed not to be able to say what I think per time because I support Atiku.
I Continue to support Atiku out of a much more bigger principle for the country than any type of sycophancy or gratification. I will say what I want to say. He can’t bring himself to criticize Obi even on basic policy. Hero-worshipping someone on an opposing campaign while sitting in a key position in a campaign is peak retardation.

You people should campaign o. Dont support from the sidelines. Campaign for @ubasanius and @jerryadams225 for whatever reason you choose to support. 🙏🏽
If @jerryadams225 becomes Governor of Kaduna in 2031, he will go on to become the most loved governor the state has ever had and that love will only push him to work even harder for the people who believe in him the most.
I just hope he plays his card well, can’t wait.

Bola Tinubu’s administration increasingly raises serious questions about impunity and accountability.
When Dayo Israel of the APC flaunts ₦160 million Prado jeeps, Nigerians deserve more than spectacle; they deserve answers. Who funded these vehicles? Were they privately acquired or purchased with public funds?
At a time when millions are battling economic hardship, transparency is not too much to demand. Power must never become a licence for impunity, and public office must never be a shield against accountability.
Bola is a man of impunity and should be chased out of our polity come 2027!
TINUBU MUST EXPLAIN LUXURY SUV GIFTS TO APC YOUTHS WHILE NIGERIANS GO HUNGRY — ATIKU.
Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of presiding over a grotesque spectacle of executive excess: the reported distribution of 2026 model luxury SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, to APC youth leaders while millions of Nigerians are crushed by hunger and soaring costs.
Atiku said it was a brazen insult to ask Nigerians to endure hardship while party loyalists receive vehicles worth a fortune. He demanded an immediate public explanation from President Tinubu and the Presidency: who is paying for these SUVs, and why is such lavish political spending taking place while ordinary families struggle to afford food and transport?
In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku said:
"The APC National Youth Leader says these vehicles were donated by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. Nigerians deserve to know where the money came from to buy and distribute so many 2026 model SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, for political mobilisation.
"The First Lady holds no elected or executive office. She is only a domestic appendage of the office of President. Were these vehicles bought with her personal funds, donations or public resources? Who paid for them? What was the total cost? The Presidency must provide a clear account. Nigerians cannot be expected to accept a fleet of extraordinarily expensive vehicles for party loyalists without knowing who financed them.
"At a time families cannot afford food, transport and other basic necessities, these gifts are a brazen insult to the people. The government has found a way to provide luxury SUVs for APC youth leaders, yet millions of Nigerians are still waiting for meaningful relief from the cost of living crisis. This is not merely a question of misplaced priorities. It is one of the most outlandish displays of executive recklessness in our history.
"First, APC women leaders reportedly received luxury vehicles. Now, according to the National Youth Leader, APC youth leaders are receiving SUVs from the First Lady. The earlier gifts came on the eve of the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State. Now another lavish round of political giving is taking place while Nigerians face hunger, insecurity and hardship.
"While Nigerians continue to ask where the savings from subsidy removal have gone, the Presidency must explain how such costly gifts are being funded. If the vehicles were paid for privately, the source of the funds should be disclosed. If public resources were used, the government must identify who authorised the spending and under what legal authority.
"The scale of these gifts raises grave questions about whether our collective patrimony is being diverted to buy political loyalty. Nigeria cannot be run as a captured state, where wealth and influence serve the powerful while ordinary citizens are left to struggle.
"The same youth leader who made the gifts public is reportedly travelling by private jet. That image of extraordinary privilege stands in jarring contrast to the hardship facing ordinary Nigerians. The Presidency must stop treating questions about wealth and spending as an inconvenience. Nigerians have a right to ask where the money came from.
"Nor is this culture of privilege confined to party officials; it reaches the very household of the President. His own son, Mr Seyi Tinubu, has been pictured, in widely circulated images, wearing a Richard Mille RM 67-02 Sébastien Ogier, a timepiece that sells for close to half a million dollars ($500k), while the same government asks ordinary Nigerians to endure hardship, tighten their belts and wait patiently for relief that never seems to arrive.

I see your ridiculous takes which are always geared towards the path of foolishness and though tempted to respond, I always think to not interrupt you as you make an absolute fool of yourself; turns out that is a huge mistake and I should have informed you of this so you can attempt to course correct... my bad! Pretending you do not see the vitriol by your mob targeted at me and reduce it to antagonizing A to please B is part of your harebrained takes that we have all become accustomed to. You and your ilk can never ever take responsibility for the mess of your collective but continue to pile on people. It is your way, and I am not surprised. January is not far, this violent jingoism masked as campaign will be put to rest. I hope you people will let us rest by then. Sakarai!
